Who We Look For:
We are looking for an individual who can be a part of the culinary staff that we have built who has a passion for pastry with 3 - 5 years of pastry / baking experience.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare bread items according to production schedules and banquet event orders
* Ensure consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards
* Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not prepared beyond estimated needs
* Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill
* Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures
* Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up; note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages
* Return all food items not used to designated storage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables
* Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems, control food waste, loss and usage per policies
Minimum Qualifications:

Develops target lists and action plans for account solicitation. Assists in assignment and distribution of leads and inquiries. Assists in the approval of file turnovers.
Meets with clients on property, during outside sales calls and attends major trade shows around the country in order to assist in developing and closing major pieces of business.
Directs maintenance of sales files, accounts and other administrative duties.

Present and serve beverages to guests
Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations
Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates, cards and vouchers
Stock and maintain the bar to include, but not limited to, beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
Cut, store and ensure product quality of all beverage-related perishables
Respond professionally to inebriated guests, as needed

The magical Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace is looking for a full-time Utility Steward/Dishwasher to join their culinary team! Connected by pedestrian skybridge to Disney Springs, this beautiful property includes more than 150 dining, shopping, and entertainment venues.

What will I be doing?
As a Steward, you would be responsible for transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and serviceware in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
* Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher to clean all chinaware, silverware and cooking utensils
* Scrub pots and pans
* Burnish, de-tarnish and polish silver
* Stock and maintain supplies and equipment
* Perform cleaning duties including, but not limited to, mopping and removing trash
* Transport and store clean serviceware
* Train other stewards, as needed
* Prepare and place clean serviceware for events and functions
