The Opportunity: The Lakehouse Restaurant Manager (Food & Beverage Manager) Who We Look For: The Pool Restaurant Manager (Food & Beverage Manager) at Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort will oversee operations of PB&G (Pool Bar & Grill). This includes operations service standards as well as new club member relations component, which is a key piece of PB&G. In addition, this role will work closely with the Recreation team to develop strong communication and increase working efficiencies to align the operation with the growth of our recreation facilities. The manager will ensure the future success of the entire operation through inspirational leadership that drive continual improvement, innovativeness and manager/employee development. Responsibilities: * Ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for outlet operation * Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts * Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for dinner * Oversee and control of labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control * Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments * Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed * Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors, and Management throughout the entire resort Minimum Qualifications: * 3 - 4 years of management experience within Food & Beverage * A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers. * Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently. * Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions. * High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team. A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays. Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States. What you bring * At least 1 year of Supervisory or Assistant Management experience in a luxury hotel or resort. * Proven leadership and management skills. * Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. * Extensive knowledge of front office and housekeeping operations. * Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Opera preferred/is a plus. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
