Summary
The Emergency Service Travel Specialist provides after hours services for Fox World Travel clients, both domestically and internationally. The individual in this role is knowledgeable in all facets of business travel and provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Due to the nature of emergency travel services, this position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. The ability to work all assigned shifts as part of a rotating schedule is an essential function of this role to ensure 24/7 coverage for our clients.

A day in the life of an Emergency Service Travel Specialist at Fox may include:
Providing travel services for domestic, trans-border, and international itineraries.
Counseling clients on efficient routes, lowest available airfares, and travel products/services.
Ensuring optimum customer service is provided through effective use of computer systems and positive telephone techniques.
Anticipating client needs and acting on special requests.
Maintaining awareness and adherence to our clients' procedures, programs, and policy guidelines.
Consistent application of Fox World Travel best practices.
Meeting and striving to exceed quality and productivity goals.
Ability to work under pressure and effectively multi-task while maintaining professional rapport with clients.
Assisting with projects when required.
Assisting customers with online booking tool questions and fulfilling online reservations.
Processing exchanges, voids, and refunds for travelers.
Maintaining working knowledge of airline practices, programs & operations.
Maintaining working knowledge of vendor loyalty programs.
Maintaining high level of competency on Travelport+/Smartpoint GDS.
Extensive knowledge of destination geography.
Providing specialized services to VIP clients.
Acting as a role model to reinforce superior customer service and professionalism.
Assist in transitioning new team members.
Striving for continual improvement through training and constructive feedback, in addition to identifying process enhancements
Ability to work flexible night, weekend, and holiday hours and shifts as determined by business need and client call volume.

At least 1 year of recent leisure/vacation travel booking experience at a travel agency with a proven track record of successful sales; working with booking sites/tools and Customer Relationship Management programs is ideal; experience with ClientBase preferred.

The Reentry Specialist plays a vital role in the Community Reentry Center (CRC) by providing direct participant support, conducting needs assessments, and coordinating essential services to promote successful reintegration. Reporting directly to the Senior Reentry Specialist, this position requires a balanced approach of direct service, strategic referrals, and safety oversight. The Reentry Specialist will ensure participants receive comprehensive assistance in housing, employment, education, financial stability, and health services.
This role demands strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as an understanding of trauma-informed care, reentry services, and community-based resources. The Reentry Specialist will work closely with subcontracted service providers, CRC staff, and justice system partners to deliver holistic, person-centered support for individuals transitioning back into the community.
This is a full-time, hourly position with a four-10's schedule; 8am - 6pm Monday-Thursday.
Participant Screening and Assessment
Conduct initial screenings to identify participant needs in critical areas, including health, identification, housing, education, and employment.
Develop individualized service plans in collaboration with participants.
Resource Coordination
Coordinate services for the participant with the contracted entities.
Assist clients with applications for assistance programs, housing resources, and employment opportunities.
Track participant referrals and follow-ups, ensuring seamless access to necessary services.
Service Plan Development and Monitoring
Develop and review individualized service plans and track participant progress.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all assessments, referrals, progress, and outcomes for the participant.

Culinary Internship Program
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Culinary Internship Program. This track offers on-the-job training, mentoring relationships with regular coaching, and an opportunity to connect and build life-long relationships with culinary leaders and peers. There are a select number of spots available in this program. This internship is front-line work, mixed with learning various supervisory roles. This experience does rotate between different areas/kitchens, but you may be asked to help in other areas as business volumes vary. If you're interested in learning systems, working in multiple concepts, scratch cooking and finding out how Kalahari feeds the masses - down to an intimate dinner - this is for you! Previous cooking experience is necessary.
Culinary Art Focus
All Kalahari properties have multiple concepts, from coffee and scratch-pastry shops, sit-down restaurants, a beverage operation, to a full-service convention center. As a Culinary Intern you will gain the unforgettable experience of being part of our back-of-the-house teams in either: Double Cut Steak House, Sortino's, Cinco Niño's, B-Lux Bar & Grill, Cinco Nino's, waterpark eateries, banquets, baking/pastry, and the production kitchen.
Baking & Pastry Arts Focus
All Kalahari properties have a from-scratch production bake shop. Baking and Pastry Arts Program will rotate through a variety of roles, including bulk recipe batching, bread production, pastry/cakes, displays/plating.
Payrate: $18.00/hr.
What We're Looking For
One or more of these criteria must apply to be eligible:
A student enrolled at the Culinary Institute of America in a Culinary or Pastry Arts Program. (Kalahari is a Certified Externship Site for CIA externs)
A student enrolled in a culinary or pastry arts program at a community college or university.
No formal schooling but has at least one year of experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant. Someone seeking hands-on work experience and gaining invaluable industry knowledge
Kalahari's Culinary Intern program is typically a minimum of 12 weeks but can be customized according to curriculum requirements.
We view this experience as a chance for you to showcase your talents and to make a positive difference. Successful interns will be strongly considered to remain with the company after graduation.

Duties and Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
Provide detailed information about accommodations, amenities, rates, packages, and promotions
Accurately process new reservations, changes, and cancellations in accordance with resort policies
Maintain clear communication with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
Upsell rooms and resort amenities to maximize revenue opportunities
Build strong relationships with internal and external customers
Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest profiles
Implement and maintain quality standards for the Reservations Department
Handle guest concerns or complaints with diplomacy and escalate to supervisor/manager when necessary
Meet or exceed individual and team performance goals
Assist Reservations Manager with group contacts and coordinating group room reservations
Assist with Fronk Desk duties as needed
