Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the ESL Teacher is to ensure the language development of English language learner students, in both inclusive and separate classroom environments. The teacher will co-plan with the content teachers, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in a co-teaching learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential; provides instruction in multiple content areas, and maintains a cooperative attitude with staff, parents, and students. ESL teachers will also provide specialized ESL instruction that is designed to advance English language development and foster English language proficiency. ESL instruction includes social and academic language in all four language domains: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. ESL instruction promotes academic achievement by providing students with systematic, explicit, and sustained language instruction that entails a laser-sharp focus on academic language
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate for this position will:
* Design and implement high-quality instruction for English Language Learners.
* Provide coaching, support, and resources to classroom teachers in service of English Language Learners.
* Collaborate with classroom teachers with regard to curriculum design and assessment for English Language Learners (SIOP model).
* Administer assessments in accordance with Massachusetts guidelines and PHA protocol (ACCESS, LAS, W-APT, etc.
* Support general education teachers in differentiating curriculum to meet the needs of ELs.
* Provide professional development to staff on instructional strategies to support ELs in the classroom.
* .Assist ESL teachers in developing ESL curriculum district-wide.
* Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources geared toward the needs of ELL students
* Understand current DESE guidelines on the education of EL and communicate information to colleagues.

Qualifications - Required:

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the school administration, general education teachers, special education teachers, and related service providers provide needed support to students during instructional periods and non-instructional activities. Position Overview:
The Behavior Interventionist is responsible for implementing the school-wide plan for creating a positive culture of behavior in the school in accordance with Foxborough Regional Charter School's Code of Conduct.
Responsibilities:
* Provide and supervise in a fair and consistent manner a positive behavior system with high standards, consistent with the philosophy, values, and mission of the school.
* Supports scholars by being highly visible throughout the building and grounds before and after school, during lunch periods, flexible learning blocks, etc., and while students are transitioning between classes.
* Collaborate with teachers, faculty, counselors, parents, etc., in the implementation of a school-wide plan for creating a positive culture of behavior in the school
* Proactively promote positive school culture by providing a warm, inviting, yet firm environment where students feel safe, welcome, and aware of the expectations.
* Promote student understanding of both their rights and responsibilities as school and community citizens.
* Assist in protecting the safety, health, and welfare of the student body
* Assist in developing programs to promote positive student behavior
* Provide monthly reports to school leaders
* Communicate with parents regarding behavior issues
* Help resolve concerns that may impede student learning and/or participation in school activities
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student behavior information and provide monthly reports to school leaders
* Collaborate with school leaders to organize and track student attendance.
* Communicate with parents regarding class or period tardy/attendance-related issues.
* Counsel students in matters of attendance, tardiness, and poor choices made, and make every effort to build relevant skills.

Change light bulbs as needed, both indoors and outdoors.
Clean furniture, equipment, sills, ledges, heating grills, ventilation units, walls, ceilings, stairs, and boilers.
Sweep or shovel snow, apply sand and salt, and chip ice from exterior walks and steps.
Empty wastebaskets and trash receptacles in offices, classrooms, lounges, kitchens, gymnasiums, corridors, and bathrooms, and dispose of rubbish properly.
Arrange rooms as required for various activities.
Inspect both the interior and exterior of the building for vandalism and report any issues to the senior custodian.
Notify the senior custodian of emergencies and assist in overtime work as necessary.

Open and lock exit doors, check panic hardware and door closers, and report malfunctions.

The Nurse plays a central role in ensuring that our students are healthy and the school is in full compliance with the state. In addition to treating students and maintaining health records, the Nurse functions as the primary contact person for all health-related issues. In this role, the Nurse must be able to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families.
Responsibilities:
* Provide direct and appropriate nursing care to students; assessment, treatment, planning, intervention, evaluation, management, and referral as indicated.
* Administer first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed.
* Manage the storage and administration of medications according to district policies.
* Conduct mandatory health screenings and track immunization compliance.
* Develop care plans for students with chronic health conditions, including asthma, allergies, and diabetes.
* Educate students on topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.
* Serve as a health resource for parents, providing updates and guidance on their children's health issues.
* Coordinate with local health agencies for infectious disease management and health promotion.

FRAMINGHAM PUBLIC SCHOOLS Follow us on LinkedIn Coordinator of Expanded Learning Time (ELT) Elementary Site (Bilingual Spanish Preferred) Department of Expanded Learning Time - Barbieri Elementary School Site 2025-2026 School Year The Expanded Learning (ELT) Elementary Site Coordinator is responsible for planning, supervising, and implementing high-quality before- and after-school programming for students in grades K-5 in Framingham Public Schools. Through a collaborative effort with school leaders, community partners, families, and students, the Elementary Site Coordinator will be responsible for managing a high-quality OST program that complements students' school-day learning through academically enriching activities with a strong focus on hands-on, project-based learning.
Specifically, the Site Coordinator will be responsible for managing and supporting staff, coordinating with external community partners, overseeing daily operations, addressing medical, behavioral, and other student needs, planning community events and field trips, and all other responsibilities pertaining to overseeing a complex, multifaceted out-of-school-time program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

I. Daily Program Operations
* Design and oversee daily programmatic schedule in compliance with EEC staffing ratios and requirements.
* Respond to and document all injuries and incidents on site in accordance with EEC and district policy.
* Oversee the site's budget, purchasing, and supply management.
* Coordinate with the school nurse to plan for student health needs, and oversee the documentation and delivery of all medication in accordance with DESE and EEC requirements.
* Coordinate snacks and meals, attendance tracking, student rosters, and fee collection.
* Manage and submit weekly staff payroll and ensure accurate daily timekeeping.
* Attend monthly meetings with building leadership to collaboratively address building and logistical concerns.
* Oversee compliance with all other relevant departmental, district, and EEC policies/procedures not listed above.
II. Family, Youth and Community Engagement
* Serve as the primary point person for day-to-day caregiver questions and concerns
* Plan and host events, workshops, and showcases to intentionally engage families
* Oversee the recruitment of students by promoting program offerings through multiple channels, including but not limited to social media campaigns, weekly newsletters, classroom visits, attending community outreach events, and collaborating with relevant school leaders to ensure full program enrollment
* Connect caregivers as needed with internal and external resources and services, including vouchers and scholarships
* Provide authentic opportunities for youth to inform the design and implementation of program activities as appropriate
III. Staff Coaching and Supervision
* Hire, onboard, and directly supervise all site staff, including the AM Program Lead, and cover their role in their absence
* Support staff development through regular meetings, coaching, and performance reviews
* Assist with new staff orientation and onboarding in collaboration with the Department of Expanded Learning Time
* Ensure a positive and productive working environment for all staff by facilitating open lines of communication, implementing restorative approaches to conflict resolution, and modeling the highest standards of behavior in accordance with FPS policy
IV. Curriculum Development and Implementation
* Collaborate with Group Leaders to design and document project-based enrichment curriculum in accordance with district and department expectations.
* Meet with relevant school day staff, such as instructional coaches and classroom teachers, to identify shared educational priorities for participating students, including attending school SST meetings and IEP meetings as needed
* Collaborate with departmental leadership to embed extension of school day curriculum content during out-of-school-time activities
* Develop and facilitate programming for special programs, including early release days, vacation weeks, summer learning programs, and school closure days
V. Evaluation and Program Improvement
* Evaluate programming using validated program assessment tools such as the SAYO-S and APT-O, as well as student, family, and staff survey,s to ensure that youth are participating in a quality learning experience
* Prepare regular reports and presentations on program activities, outcomes, and trends as requested
* Use data analysis to identify areas for program improvement and inform decision-making processes
* Oversee the execution of project activities to ensure alignment with organizational objectives

* Maintain accurate records of all tests administered, including scores and participant information, to support accountability and reporting requirements.

BACKGROUND CHECK AND TRAINING:
As our programs receive funding through the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF), all Employees and volunteers must complete a background record check (BRC) through the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) as required by federal law.
Starting in May 2024, all staff in EEC child care programs are required to complete the new EEC Essentials 2.0 training course. New hires must finish EEC Essentials 2.0 before they begin working with children. After that, all staff in EEC-licensed and funded programs will need to complete an annual EEC Essentials refresher package. This refresher will be made available in fall 2025. Currently, this training does not apply to Little Explorers at Juniper Hill or Secondary Group Leaders.

Plan and implement remedial programs, strategies and techniques for students with language, speech and hearing disabilities; coordinate and implement behavior management techniques; design, implement and monitor Individual Educational Plans (IEP) for eligible students.
Monitor and evaluate student progress; receive and respond to referrals from District personnel, parents, physicians and others; provide speech and language screenings and assessments; select, administer and interpret diagnostic tests to identify language, speech and hearing needs of students.
Consult with parents, faculty, administrators and specialists concerning the language, speech and hearing needs of students; respond to inquiries and provide information concerning program activities and student progress; provide referrals to outside agencies as appropriate.
Prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports related to diagnostic testing, student progress, and program activities; develop and maintain a schedule outlining program activities.
Coordinate and present in-services and consultations regarding language, speech and hearing disorders and special education procedures as assigned.
Attend and participate in a variety of meetings, conferences, workshops, seminars and committees; serve as a member of the IEP and student study teams as appropriate.
Operate a variety of instructional and office equipment, including a computer and assigned software. Perform related duties as assigned.
Develops a Plan of Care for Medicaid eligible Speech Language Impaired students, which may include specific instructions to students, parents, teachers, and other professionals on the interdisciplinary team.
Identify/select appropriate materials and equipment for therapy.
Establish schedules for therapy sessions.
Establish and maintain effective and efficient record keeping procedures.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the laws and policies governing Special Education in Massachusetts, particularly as they pertain to the delivery of speech/language therapy services.
Act as liaison for Speech/Language therapy students.
Maintain accurate daily records and data collection to document students' attendance, progress, including requirements for Medicaid.
Verify students' Medicaid eligibility and write a Plan of Care for those who are eligible.
Manage time, materials, and equipment effectively
