What You'll Do Day-To-Day
* Utilize the enterprise manufacturing system to issue work orders and production orders, including identifying quantities, schedules, routings, parts lists, and associated documentation. Work is reviewed by senior personnel.
* Issue material requisitions through the enterprise system, ensuring accurate quantities, schedules, and documentation; subject to oversight by more experienced team members.
* Evaluate supply versus demand for routine items using the enterprise system; assist with more complex evaluations under guidance.
* Facilitate or participate in meetings to assess the status of assigned items against published schedules and help resolve issues that may impact availability.
* Provide basic forecast data to support cost-effective procurement planning.
* Expedite materials or activities as needed to recover and maintain production schedules.
* Assist in adjusting item schedules to better balance workloads and improve efficiency.
* Contribute input on lead time adjustments and material overage requirements to support continuous improvement.

The Field Machinist Lead is responsible for oversight of the Canadian union craft in the set up and operation of a wide variety of portable machine tools to perform on-site machine work and repairs for the Bruce Unit 3 Steam Generator Replacement project. Your primary role is to provide technical training and oversight on the execution of field machining operations in accordance with the approved site and company procedures The Lead is directly responsible for technical oversight for the execution of services in accordance with the requirements of the site and Framatome process and procedures. You will conduct training and development of the Canadian union craft to continuously improve their skills and levels of competence and knowledge. This position requires up to 100% travel to Canada at Bruce Nuclear Power station. What You'll Do Day-To-Day
* Perform standard engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks, resolution of field problems, and resolution of quality events.
* Develop awareness of government regulations, organization, industry and customer engineering standards with support of senior staff.
* Under a mentor's guidance, evaluate, select and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making minor adaptations and modifications.
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Engineering. Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted.
* Please attach a copy of your unofficial academic transcript as part of your application.
* Basic knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
* Exposure to use of CAD modeling and computer programming skills.

* Salary: $65,000 - $84,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
