NOW Hiring: Plumbing Inspector I/II (or) Interim Plumbing Inspector Under direction of the Plumbing Supervisor, the Plumbing Inspector I and II (or) Interim Plumbing Inspector is responsible for performing inspections, evaluations, investigations, and consultations in compliance with applicable program standards, state laws and rules, local regulations, Board of Health policies and services in alignment with the agencys adopted mission and vision, community needs, and federal, state, and local mandates. DUTIES INCLUDE: Inspects plumbing systems and medical gas systems to conformance with approved plans, specifications and approved engineered design. Plumbing Inspector I/II: Reviews blueprints and engineering drawings for compliance and provides technical advice to design professionals, contractors, owners, and operators regarding Ohio Plumbing Code and/or local regulations. Interim Plumbing Inspector: Prepares detailed reports on daily plumbing activities (inspections, investigations, evaluations, complaints) and maintains related records. Works with other staff, sections, and departments providing environmental health plumbing knowledge in relation to plumbing code and/or communicable disease investigations. Routine interaction with public officials, citizens, vendors, clients, patrons, and applicants to gather and process information; cooperative/coordinating responsibility with other departments. Sonographic Arterial Duplex examinations of the upper or lower extremities either with or without provocative maneuvers. 5. Sonographic Doppler Venous Waveform Analysis of the upper or lower extremities for the evaluation of venous insufficiency or reflux. 7. Sonographic Duplex examinations of Hemodialysis Access Sites including AV Fistulas and AV Grafts. 8. Discusses anatomy and vascular physiology associated with the test in general and specifically as it relates to each patient's pathology. 2. Familiarizes the technologist or student with current scientific articles and reference books pertaining to the procedure s . 3. Discusses and demonstrates equipment operation. 4. Discusses and demonstrates testing protocols and criteria. 5. Instructs the technologist or student on interpreting the procedure and the proper method for preliminary reporting. 6. This is a large and busy Radiation Oncology department located in two locations within the hospital and requires a therapist to be on call for add on or urgent cases. Call is rotated on a weekly basis among the 11 therapists. The department consists of three Linear Accelerators and two CTs. They also provide High Dose Rate Brachytherapy in the department. Delivers radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. Prepares patients for a course of Radiation Therapy inclusive of simulation, dose calculations and acquiring of treatment parameters. Summary: This position prepares patients for examinations and preforms diagnostic radiology procedures following standards and protocols set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The position requires the technologist to perform procedures in more than one modality. Therefore, the technologist will be multi-modality trained and/or certified in 2 or more of the following modalities: diagnostics, CT, MR, US, Dexa, or Mammo. Summary: The Lead Radiation Therapist is the supervisor over the Radiation Therapy team at Riverside Methodist Hospital Radiation Oncology. They are responsible for maintaining adequate staff levels and making sure all the LINAC machines are well staffed. They maintain and prepare the daily schedule and the call schedule for our team. They partner with the providers and the nursing team to deliver high quality care to our patients and are the connecting link between the Radiation Therapy team and the department manager. They are responsible for addressing the immediate concerns of the radiation therapy team and escalating them when appropriate. They maintain a high quality of care by reviewing charts and making sure all the required parameters and hard stops are in place. They participate in the Quality Review Meetings and address any quality concerns with the Radiation Therapy team. They are also involved in system meetings aimed to improve the quality of care at a system level. When not working on administrative duties, the Lead Radiation Therapist will also be involved in treatments at the LINAC or coordinate the patient appointments at the SIM CT, depending on their rotation assignment. Responsibilities And Duties: 10% With regards to the radiation therapist activities, the Lead Therapist oversees and verifies the accuracy and completeness of patient charts and department QA records, such as morning linac QA, routine imaging, and treatment documentation. 5% Assures appropriate supply inventories are maintained for the treatment areas. 5% Oversees the radiation therapist time off requests, treatment rotations, and on-call schedule ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained. 10% Assists the department manager with operational needs. 10% Evaluates the radiation therapists with regards to their technical competencies and ensures that their annual licenses and OhioHealth competencies are completed timely. 5% Provides input to manager for yearly staff evaluations for each radiation therapist. 5% Obtains budget needs for the therapy department and assists Manager with budget preparation. 50% Performs the duties of a Radiation Therapist Reg in conjunction to performing the administrative role of the Lead Therapist. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree (Required) ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Additional Job Description: ARRT Registration, Ohio licensed or eligible; 5 yrs. clinical Experience with all aspects of radiation therapy.
