This person will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and executing sales strategies the region including Eastern Canada, Northeastern US, and some markets in the Upper Midwest US to achieve prescribed revenue goals. Key Responsibilities Maintains and grows existing data center accounts through frequent, value-driven engagement. Drives sales growth by identifying and securing business with key data center operators and strategic partners. Develops and maintains strong relationships with technical and commercial decision-makers at hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centers. Works closely with engineering and operations contacts to ensure specification of Franklin Electric solutions in new builds and retrofit projects. Coordinates and attends national and regional data center industry tradeshows, technical summits, and customer-hosted seminars. Participates in pricing discussions, service-level agreements, and commercial contract negotiations tailored to the data center market. Maintains accurate customer and opportunity data in CRM tools; ensures timely follow-ups, pipeline visibility, and forecast accuracy. Performs other related duties as required or assigned. Management Responsibilities Collaborates with channel partners and internal functional resources to ensure alignment on goals, customer approach, and solution positioning. Provides input on annual forecasts, account-level strategies, and marketing programs specific to the data center vertical. Supports the development and execution of joint account plans with independent reps and OEM/channel partners. Works cross-functionally with the product and engineering teams to provide customer-driven feedback and help shape product evolution to better serve the data center segment. Partners with the marketing team to ensure collateral, digital content, and case studies reflect the technical priorities and decision criteria of the data center audience. May participate in interviewing, training, and performance feedback for support staff. May coordinate activities with contracted external representatives for assigned accounts or territories.
