Scott has been involved in the healthcare and real estate industries for over 30 years and is the Founder and CEO of Wingate Healthcare, a regional provider of skilled nursing and supportive care to seniors in residential settings in Massachusetts and New York State. Mr. Schuster’s involvement in healthcare has included the development, construction, operation and financing of more than 7,000 skilled nursing beds and assisted living apartments and the development of ancillary service businesses in post-acute care including institutional pharmacy, hospice care, rehab and home care. Prior to that, Mr. Schuster served as a Director of Continental Wingate Company, Inc. and was responsible for the company’s multifamily residential development portfolio that includes over 12,000 apartments. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He is also a board member of the Brigham & Women’s Hospital Physicians Organization, the Care Improvement Council and the Joint Finance Committee.
