As a Mental Health Technician, you'll work in Fraser's early childhood day treatment program, supporting preschool-aged children with mental health diagnoses. This is an excellent entry-level clinical position that provides hands-on experience working with children. It may also fulfill internship requirements for undergraduate programs.

Primary Responsibilities

Fraser is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). This certification allows us to better meet the growing need for autism, mental health, and disability services in our community. As a result, clients will benefit from faster access to treatment, inclusive and culturally responsive whole-person care, and dedicated care coordinators who provide continuous support throughout their treatment journey.
As part of Fraser's Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) care team, the Part-Time Physician Psychiatrist works collaboratively with clients and families to integrate psychiatric medications into a comprehensive, whole-person-centered treatment plan that reflects each individual's strengths and challenges. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing and managing medications, leading medical decision-making, timely and accurate documentation, and actively collaborating with other members of the client care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution
Board certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry preferred
Current, active license to practice medicine in Minnesota
Current, active DEA license
Clinical experience working with neurodiverse individuals and clients with neurodevelopmental disorders preferred
Responsibilities:
Provide Exceptional Whole-Person Client Care
Deliver high-quality whole-person psychiatric services, including psychiatric assessments, medication management, crisis intervention, lab and procedure orders, referrals for additional services and supports, psychoeducation, and psychotherapy for clients and families as needed.
Support Crisis Management
Evaluate clients in crisis, develop safety plans, and determine the need for hospitalization or referral to a higher level of care.
Coordinate Psychiatric Services
Collaborate with the psychiatry clinic team and other Fraser professionals to ensure integrated, team-based care.
Maintain Accurate Clinical Documentation
Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in alignment with organizational policies and standards. Ensure proper application of Evaluation and Management (E/M) codes to support accurate billing, reimbursement, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate and Consult Across Teams
Partner with internal teams and external providers as needed; offer consultation and support to staff and families to enhance client outcomes.
Lead Quality Improvement Initiatives
Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical protocols, policies, and standards of psychiatric care.
Foster Trusting Client Relationships
Build rapport with clients and families to promote engagement, trust, and continuity of care.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
CLINICAL
Completes initial behavioral health evaluations; individual, group and family psychotherapy with children and/or adults in an outpatient clinic.
Consults with providers within and outside the agency regarding the treatment plan and progress of the patients.
Coordinates as needed with psychiatric consultants for diagnostic and consultative needs; refers as necessary for medication management.
Attends clinical Team Meetings as assigned
Meets productivity standards as outlined annually during employee's performance appraisal review with a focus on quality clinical care.
Encourages clients to express their feelings and discuss what is happening in their lives, helping them to develop insight into themselves or their relationships.
Perform crisis interventions with clients.
Assess for immediate safety concerns, including: high risk patients/clients who may be at risk for homicide, suicide and domestic violence.
Guide clients in the development of skills or strategies for dealing with identified goals.
Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge according to state regulatory and joint commission standards.
Evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing treatment on clients' progress in resolving identified problems and moving towards defined objectives.
Modify treatment activities or approaches, as needed, to comply with changes in clients' status.
Work with and Support family members to assist them in understanding, dealing with, or supporting clients or patients.
Maintain awareness within discipline about new developments in the field

ADMINISTRATIVE
Completes all documentation required by state regulations, and CHC Behavioral Health department by laws in a timely manner, included by not limited to intake, prior authorization request, progress notes, treatment plan documentation, and discharge.
Completes and locks all treatment notes no later than 72 hours following visit.
Completes reports as required for outside agencies such as DCF, Family Relations, probation, and others with appropriate releases signed by clients.
Participates as a member of agency wide committees as assigned.
Requirements:
Must hold current CT LCSW, LPC, or LMFT License issued by DPH.

Fraser is looking for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our Rehabilitation Therapy team. In this role, you'll conduct therapeutic evaluations, treatments, and interventions for children and families. We welcome new graduates and Clinical Fellows, offering mentorship and support to help you thrive! External new hires are eligible for a $5,000 hiring bonus and up to $20,000 in annual productivity bonuses!
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Communication Disorders (Speech Pathology emphasis) or equivalent.
* Licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health (temporary license acceptable for Clinical Fellows).
* Valid U.S. Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
* Ability to pass a DHS background check.
* Commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices.
Responsibilities:
* Provide evaluations and re-evaluations as appropriate and within 30 days of Doctor's order and establish appropriate treatment goals.
* Provide therapeutic treatment according to the Doctor's orders.
* Communicate with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress.
* Collaborates closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practitioners.
* Maintain clean equipment and in good repair.
* Communicate with funding sources as directed by the clinical accounts receivable staff to assure reimbursement of services being delivered.

Compensation:
* The starting pay for a licensed SLP is $70,000- $73,000 annually, actual pay will depend on qualifications, with the opportunity to earn up to an additional $20,000 in productivity bonuses.
* The pay for a Clinical Fellow is $65,000 annually
* $5,000 hiring bonus (paid in two installments and contingent on performance)

Qualifications
* Completed Master's degree and currently hold and active independent clinical licensure (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT) required
* Previous experience working with preschool-aged children or adolescents, preferably in a clinical setting
* Commitment to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion with a focus on culturally responsive practice, internal self-awareness, and reflection.
Caseload Opportunities
* Outpatient Caseload: mainly providing individual and family therapy to children, adolescents or adults
OR
* Split Caseload: Early Childhood Day Treatment (group) and Outpatient (individual and family therapy) caseload
Responsibilities
* Implementing personalize and responsive client treatment plans
* Provide initial screening and assessment according to presenting need for clients with behavioral, emotional, and developmental concerns
* Write assessments succinctly and efficiently in order to recommend and refer for supports
* Conduct individual, family, and group therapy and skills training
* Collaborate and communicate with multidisciplinary team
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation
