Frazier & Deeter company history timeline
In 1981, Jim Frazier & David Deeter decided to make a break from the large firm where they worked together to start an entrepreneurial firm that was more fun and provided more opportunity than other firms.
By 1987, Frazier & Deeter had added partners recruited from Big 8 firms and had begun to grow, attracting clients who wanted the benefits of both top-tier talent and a smaller firm’s attitude toward service.
Frazier & Deeter was delighted to achieve this status in 2008, especially given the firm’s growth was earned one client at a time rather than via acquisitions.
The firm turned 30 in 2011 and celebrated by trying something new.
Having done a few acquisitions, Frazier & Deeter tried a different type of growth in 2013, with the launch of FD Fund Administration, a new subsidiary offering outsourced fund administration services to investment funds.
In 2014, the firm acquired Kingery & Crouse a PCAOB registered firm in Tampa with a strong public company audit team.
By 2015, FD officially went Hollywood.
In 2017, the firm opened our first office west of the Mississippi.
Koch joined Frazier & Deeter in 2018 as the National Practice Leader of the firm’s Transaction Advisory Practice.
In 2018, the firm opened a new office in Charlotte, North Carolina.
