The paid intern will learn advance data analytics and help analyze "omics" data, prepare figures and presentations. This is a temporary part-time position until the end of May to work 5 hours per week maximum. This position will be Remote and work with members of the laboratory of Dr. Taran Gujral in the Division of Human Biology. This position provides a rich environment to learn about cell biology and the drug discovery process. Candidates will also have the opportunity to present their research during lab meetings and scientific conferences and to write, submit, and publish scientific papers. The Amendment Operations and Budget Specialist will manage workflows and financials for Oncology clinical trial amendments across sponsor types (Industry, IIT). The incumbent will be responsible for assessing oncology clinical trial amendments, evaluating impacts including financial impacts, and determining necessary workflows. This position will work directly with internal operations, nursing, regulatory and post award teams, study teams, central offices, faculty members, and research collaborators to manage amendments. This position requires understanding of research processes, non-industry, and industry-sponsored oncology clinical trials, and maintain institutional knowledge of amendment requirements, dependencies, billing grid, budget, and post-award requirements. Responsibilities * Manage amendment timeline, ensuring that all financial, clinic implementation and contract requirements are executed accurately and expeditiously. This position reports to a Principal Staff Scientist in the Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, and Epidemiology program in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division. The position is for a full-time, on-site, research member specializing primarily in solid tumor Anatomic Pathology and relevant aspects of Molecular Diagnostics. The primary role for this position entails establishing and maintaining a robust research pathology core infrastructure and delivering research pathology services for Fred Hutch with a particular focus on Precision Oncology. This involves assessing tissue specimens, creating tissue biobanks with deep clinical and molecular annotation, interpreting immunohistochemical and molecular pathology studies, and providing expertise, advise and input for research projects with relevance to precision oncology. The hourly pay range for this position is from $21.30 to $30.13 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship at this time.
