The Courier I is responsible for the pick-up, transportation and delivery of lab specimens, medical records, medications, and patient related documentation within the Fred Hutch clinic and campus.
Please note that this is a part-time (0.5 FTE) position, working Monday-Friday from 10:30am to 2:30pm at the South Lake Union location.
Responsibilities
* Deliver all specimens, medications, and patient-related materials, accurately and within an appropriate timeframe.
* Monitor courier phone and manage shifting priorities to maintain route schedule (if applicable).
* Maintain courier logs, ensure courier entries are legible, accurate and adhere to standard written procedures.
* Report and assist with tracking of missing or damaged specimens, medications, and patient related materials.

The Registered Nurse - Clinical Nurse Coordinator is a member of an interdisciplinary care team. This role provides patient centric care and is primarily responsible for nursing assessment and diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
This position will be 0.75 FTE/part-time Monday-Friday, three 10 hour shifts from 7:30am-6pm, days of the week to be determined. This position will be located at the Evergreen Clinic in Kirkland, WA.

Required:

Under the general direction of the Physical Therapy Supervisor, the Physical Therapist is responsible for clinical duties in the physical therapy department. The Physical Therapist effectively treats a wide variety of oncology diagnoses as well as other types of patients treated at Fred Hutch Cancer Center. Evaluating, planning and administering treatment to Fred Hutch patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems
Administering and interpreting tests and measurements of muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency
Instructing patients and their caregivers/families in the care and use of wheelchairs, braces, canes, crutches, and other equipment or devices

The Medical Assistant I assists with clinical procedures and daily operations in support of prevention-based research studies. This role works as part of a multi-disciplinary research team.

Responsibilities
Clinical Support
Perform in accordance with research protocols, delegated functions and procedures which are within MA scope of practice. This may include such procedures such as vital signs , anthropometrics such as waist and hip circumference, blood draws, urine collections, and other common measurements.
Collect and process blood, urine, and biopsy specimens according to specific research protocols. Blood processing includes centrifuging and alloquoting blood specimens. Biopsy sample processing would include weighing and dividing samples.
Interact with patients, families, and study personnel while adhering to confidentiality and privacy practices.
Perform DEXA imaging.
Conduct sterile technique protocols when required such as setting up sterile trays for procedures, assisting during sterile procedures and autoclaving of equipment
Assist MD investigators and Advanced Practice Providers in biopsy procedures, pelvic exams or other procedures.
Assemble blood collection and processing setups and maintain study inventories.
Maintain, clean and organize exam and laboratory rooms and work stations. This includes biohazard waste disposal and re-stocking.
Other Research Support
Work with MA Research Coordinator to maintain the Research Clinic availability calendar for client scheduling and keep up-to-date within 24 business hours to ensure smooth scheduling. Problem solve proactively for scheduling issues that arise, working with PC leadership to ensure an optimal client and study participant experience.
Work with MA Research Coordinator to prepare and revise training materials as needed
Organize and maintain paper and electronic files in the Research Clinic.
Create clinic data collection templates and labels according to study needs.

Qualifications

This is a part time position to directly support laboratory research in the Corey Lab in the Vaccine and Infectious Diseases Division (VIDD). The Lab Aide will work closely with Dr. Karsten Eichholz on an ongoing study to develop chimeric antigen receptor T cells. They will be responsible for performing laboratory experiments, interpreting the results, and communicating results to Dr. Eichholz.
Responsibilities
Help to clone plasmid constructs
Help with lentiviral vector production and determine their titers using flow cytometry.
Communicate progress and results to project PI
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent; OR,
High school senior with lab-based experience or demonstrated interest in the sciences
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Documented evidence of HIPAA training, and be willing to complete additional research training.
Excellent computer skills, including the ability to use MS word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Strong interpersonal skills and an excellent work ethic are required.
Flexible and able to work independently without supervision.
The hourly pay range for this position is from $21.30 to $30.13 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.

The Nuclear Medicine PET-CT Technologist performs all nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and PET-CT procedures according to department procedure manual and physician orders.
Responsibilities
Information Processing & Image Review
* Manages electronic data, processes information (subtraction or other digital manipulation) for interpretation, reviews exam for proper positioning, technique, identification, and records required information
* Transfer images to PACS and verifies the action. Reviews the case, patient medical history, protocol, and prior images, using clinical judgement to ensure a successful outcome
Instruction
* Instructs radiology students and/or new staff according to clinical and department requirements; assists in the orientation of department and hospital personnel with emphasis on radiation safety
Maintenance & Safety Checks
* Performs visual maintenance and quality controls checks, records and reports results to appropriate personnel, identifies problems and communicates them to immediate supervisor, takes appropriate corrective action when necessary, and offers solutions as appropriate
Maintenance of Supplies
* Responsible for ensuring an adequate inventory of supplies, linens, and accessories

Qualifications
Required:

* Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification (Nuclear Medicine)
* Meets one of the following:
A. ARRT(N) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists -Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) registered or equivalent state license for nuclear medicine technology
B. Completion of a training program in nuclear medicine that must include training in the basic and medical sciences as they apply to nuclear medicine technology and practical experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures
* Obtained ARRT CT certification or will acquire within 12 months of employment or CT certified NMTCB registered certification or will acquire with 12 months of employment.
* Current BLS AHA Health Provider Card (or equivalent course, such as by the American Red Cross), and renewal required every two years.
* Ability to communicate verbally in person, on the phone, and in writing in a clear, concise and professional manner
* Ability to work independently, organize, and prioritize concurrent responsibilities and demands

Performs variety of patient care, technical, and administrative duties to assist practitioners and other members of health care team in providing high quality patient care through health care system. About the General Oncology Unit
Our general oncology nursing and medical assistant teams provide expert, specialized care for patients receiving assessment and treatment in a wide range of specialty areas, including women's health, sarcoma, GI, THN, GU, ENT, renal melanoma, skin, endocrine, surgical and Phase 1 Clinics. Working collaboratively, team members in this unit care for both medical and surgical oncology patients, while also coordinating care and supporting patients' families.
This position is a .50 FTE onsite position at our South Lake Union location. The hours are 9:00 am to 5:30 pm two days a week.
Responsibilities
Rooms patients and families to exam/procedure area
Documents vital signs and other patient information per clinic policy
Assists with procedures as directed
Conducts clerical tasks, patient transport, cleaning and restocking of exam rooms and other requests to maintain clinic flow
Recognizes symptoms of common medical illnesses, abnormal vs., and new/existing pain and immediately escalates to RN and/or provider
Preforms Blood Draws as directed

Qualifications
Required:
