The Document Control (DC) Specialist I is responsible for review and implementation of SOPs, reports, labels, forms, and protocols in support of the CTP Department.
Please note that this is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position, working Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm onsite at the South Lake Union location.
Responsibilities
Performs technical writing and clerical/general departmental support for the preparation/revision of standard operating procedures (SOP) and other controlled documents.
Maintain master files for controlled documents. Coordinate and perform document processing activities such as tracking status, initiating document revisions, issuing/distributing for approval and employee review and assuring implementation of documents.
Maintain all paper systems according to cGTP regulatory and FACT accreditation requirements including the distribution and reconciliation of controlled documents.
Coordinate biannual review process for SOPs, Batch Records, and Batch Record Worksheets.
Perform quality control checks of paper and electronic files.
Purchase office supplies for CTP Quality group and performs inventory control.
Performs other related duties as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of progressively complex administrative experience or equivalent.
Attention to detail, with an ability to detect errors and inconsistencies in various types of documents. Strong computer, math and word processing skills.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required.
Extensive experience with PC based Microsoft Office applications, database software, and scanning systems.
Ability to create and revise complex technical documents.
Must be flexible, willing and able to work in team-based environment.
Ability to prioritize among multiple projects and maintain deadlines.
Preferred:
Associate's Degree or equivalent related work experience.
One or more years of experience in the biotechnology or medical / pharmaceutical field.
Knowledge of cGXP regulations and principles.
The hourly pay range for this position is from $35.09 to $52.63 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
* Perform external beam radiation therapy planning procedures and dose calculations.
* Perform high dose radiation therapy (HDR) planning procedures and dose calculations.
* Use Mosaiq as EMR and other associated software to accomplish this end.
* Work with physicians, residents, physics, therapists and other Radiation Oncology staff to ensure the patients plan and treatment are simulated, planned and treated in a dosimetrically appropriate and efficient manner.
* Follow Physician directives to create radiation plans using the treatment planning software(s) and present resultant dosimetry plan.
* Assist in Simulation process with Therapists/Physicians/Physicists as requested.
* Perform charge capture for procedures performed. Execute reconciliation of charges with documentation in EMR.
Qualifications
Required:
* Must be a graduate of a Medical Dosimetry school or a certified Radiation Therapist
* Must be board eligible in Dosimetry as recognized by MDCB.
* Excellent communication skills are essential.
* May be required to lift, carry or push up to 40lbs.
Preferred:
* Bachelors degree preferred, specifically in Radiation Therapy, Math, or Physics.
* Board certified preferred, and if not, must be board eligible. If not certified, certification as a Medical Dosimetrist by the MDCB is required within 1 years of becoming a Medical Dosimetrist at our facility.

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) are jointly recruiting a full-time clinical faculty member specializing in clinical care of patients with renal melanoma. This position will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level commensurate with experience and qualifications in the Clinical Research Division of the Fred Hutch and the Division of Hematology and Oncology at UW.
Fred Hutch and UW faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. The position will focus primarily on ambulatory clinical care of patients with skin and kidney cancers at a world-renowned comprehensive cancer center. The Renal Melanoma group is committed to providing outstanding patient care, through cutting edge research trials with a strong focus on immunotherapy, to patients with melanoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, other non-melanoma skin cancers, and kidney cancers. The position may also involve participation in the administrative, research, and instructional activities of the Clinical Research Division. Teaching responsibilities involve oversight of trainees during outpatient and inpatient clinical activities, and lectures. The position will be based at the South Lake Union main campus, but there is the possibility that the incumbent could see patients at one of Fred Hutch's community clinics.
The primary, annual appointment will be in the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch. The position will report to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutch and the Division Head of Hematology and Oncology.

We are seeking a Staff Scientist to join the Tobacco-Related Health Disparities (TREHD) research team, led by Principal Investigator Jaimee Heffner, PhD, in the Public Health Sciences Division of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. The TREHD research program focuses primarily on developing and evaluating tobacco cessation interventions tailored for specific populations, including people with mental health conditions, LGBTQ+ people, and US Veterans. A secondary area of research focuses on developing health behavior change interventions focused on alcohol use among cancer patients and survivors. Current active NIH-funded projects include studies to develop and evaluate mobile health applications for young adult vaping cessation and for young adults who use multiple tobacco products, using a treatment approach based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Another active project focuses on testing a mobile health app for adult smoking cessation that is based on principles of Behavioral Activation. The TREHD group also maintains significant collaborative projects with research partners at other institutions, including Kaiser Permanente and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Responsibilities
Candidates should have an interest in developing and testing interventions for nicotine and tobacco cessation in diverse populations using digital platforms. The Staff Scientist will work under the direction of Dr. Jaimee Heffner, Associate Professor in the Fred Hutch Division of Public Health Sciences. The Staff Scientist is expected to provide significant leadership for the overall lab group and function relatively independently.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing research protocols for decentralized clinical trials, including overseeing and conducting mental health assessments
* Leading or supporting intervention development activities, in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team
* Grant writing
* Analyzing data and presenting research findings in presentations and manuscripts

Qualifications

We are actively expanding our Clinical Research Support (CRS) team to support Principal Investigators (PIs) and research study teams who are focused on mission-critical clinical trial programs. The Clinical Research IIT Program Director (Investigator-Initiated Trial) is primarily responsible for strategy and operational management of protocol development, project management and data management for IITs in our oncology clinical trials portfolio. The IIT trial portfolios include multi-site investigator-initiated IND trials, and single-site investigator-initiated trials.
The incumbent manages the lifecycle of IITs from Letters of Intent (LOI), feasibility, protocol writing, database design, coordinates financial and operational startup, amendments, to data analysis and publication. The incumbent will develop systems for managing each aspect of this lifecycle and drive progress with investigators, research teams and various stakeholders engaged in IITs from initiation to publication.

PRIMARY/ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
* Responsible for establishing an integrated IIT Program Office that provides protocol development, data management, startup & amendment related processes for IITs from initiation to closeout.

A Fred Hutch Cancer Center ARNP/PA-C is a certified physician assistant or advanced registered nurse practitioner who provides evaluation and medical management of multiple service lines of adult oncology patients at our community site at Issaquah. They will actively coordinate the complex care of cancer patients undergoing both systemic anti-cancer therapy and radiation therapy. The incumbent will manage side-effects of these therapies, order appropriate laboratory and radiographic studies; prescribe medications and refer patients to other specialists as necessary. The incumbent may provide for post-treatment cancer patients follow-up visits for the medically indicated period after completion of treatment. The Ghajar Lab at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is searching for a research technician to aid in the conduct of first-in-class studies to profile seeds of metastases in breast cancer patient bone marrow.
A research technician position (full-time) is available immediately in a laboratory within Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center's Translational Research Program. The Ghajar Laboratory focuses on understanding the biology underlying disseminated tumor cell (DTC) dormancy and formulating therapeutic means to eradicate dormant DTCs. We are looking for meticulous individual who understands the urgency and importance of our work to join our team to help us understand DTC biology, in part by profiling human DTCs isolated from breast cancer patients. One outcome of this work will be identification of targets for immune-based therapies.
Responsibilities
Research Technician I
This position will work under the Principal Investigator and with the lab to:
* Keep meticulous records on processed samples, storage conditions and data generated on a large human clinical study.
* Prepare and present written or oral progress reports concerning studies including assembly, organization, and interpretation of data.

Performs clinical pharmacy services to assigned clinic patients. The department of Clinical Research Support (CRS) is the central clinical trials office for the University of Washington/Fred Hutch Cancer Consortium. The Assistant Director, Clinical Research Monitoring Program, provides strategic leadership and oversight of oncology clinical trial monitoring activities across the Fred Hutch, University of Washington, and Seattle Children's Cancer Consortium ("Cancer Consortium"). This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of clinical trial data and the protection of study participants by overseeing data and safety monitoring, managing quality investigations, and leading the development of Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans. The Assistant Director ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, institutional policies, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards. Key responsibilities include managing monitors and support staff, developing and implementing monitoring plans, and fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams. A central focus of the role is the creation and tracking of performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality clinical research operations. The Assistant Director reports directly to the Director of Clinical Research Regulatory Affairs and Compliance within Clinical Research Support (CRS).
Responsibilities
Monitoring Oversight: Lead and manage internal clinical monitoring activities across multiple studies and sites. Ensure timely and thorough review of monitoring visit reports, follow-up letters, and action items. Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements, protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and policies. Collaborate to address monitoring findings and implement corrective actions. Conduct monitoring activities, as necessary.
Metrics & Performance Management: Define and maintain metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring, safety reviews, and CAPA activities. Generate regular dashboards and reports for leadership and stakeholders. Use metrics to proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Regulatory Affairs, and external vendors. Provide guidance and direct support to study teams for CAPA development and tracking. Support study teams in communicating and managing complex quality issues with external sponsors.
Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external vendors, contract research organizations (CROs), and other third-party service providers involved in monitoring operations, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services. Manage budgets and resource allocation for monitoring operations activities.
Reporting and Communication: Maintain accurate and complete monitoring documentation. Generate metrics and reports for senior leadership and other relevant stakeholders on monitoring performance and compliance.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree required.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical research monitoring, with at least 2 years in management.
* In-depth knowledge of FDA regulations, GCP guidelines, and other relevant regulatory requirements governing clinical trials.
* Proficiency in data analytics and metric-driven performance management.
* Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities
* Prepare, package, and label medication in an accurate and efficient manner
* Compounding of sterile intravenous admixtures including hazardous, non-hazardous, and Investigational Drug Service medications
* Assist in the training of pharmacy technicians, apprentices, and interns
* Triage incoming phone calls and electronic messages relating to medications
* Interact with professional and technical staff in a courteous manner
* Cleaning and restocking sterile compounding areas
* Investigational Drug Management:

Qualifications
Required:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 1 year pharmacy technician experience or completion of Fred Hutch pharmacy apprentice program
