Our Impact:
The Investments and Capital Markets (I&CM) division is responsible for management of the retained portfolio as well as Freddie Mac's debt funding, liquidity management and interest-rate hedging. The division is also responsible for I&CM securitization.
Your Impact:
* Will combine software development, quantitative analysis, and collaboration skills to help build high-performance, scalable and fault tolerant solutions.

· 5+ years experience in Machine Learning processes: data preparation, exploratory data analysis, model training and evaluation, linear algebra, statistical concepts, algorithm design, softwareengineering practices.
· Knowledge / hands-on experience with multiple technologies such as: Apache Spark, Ray Project, PyTorch, scikit-learn, NumPy, and pandas.
· Strong proficiency in Python and working with the Python ecosystem.
· Knowledgeable about various Python package building and distribution methods (e.g., setuptools, pip, conda).
· Comfortable working with open-source packages and ability to debug issues with open-source.
· Must have strong prior hands-on development experience with distributed data processing (Apache Spark, Ray), deep learning frameworks (PyTorch), and machine learning libraries (scikit-learn).

Your Impact
Lead initiatives to resolve complex business and product challenges directly with the business, answering key questions and solving intricate problems through comprehensive data analysis of complex data sets, often using visuals to clarify findings. Translate requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria using Gherkin syntax, collaborating closely with the delivery team and Product Owner to ensure successful execution. Additionally, identify user and customer needs, recommending alternative methods to effectively meet those needs. Also, this involves facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions with subject matter experts and stakeholders, documenting outcomes in various artifacts such as process flows, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint visuals. Furthermore, you will support roadmap creation, business architecture, and change management initiatives to drive ongoing improvement and organizational success
Qualifications
5-7 years of related product analysis experience with data focus
College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred
Proven experience with data analysis tools and proficient in SQL to extract and analyze data from databases
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Agile methodologies and delivering through that lifecycle.
Ability to lead small teams through discovery and execution and to work independently on self-initiated assignments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience using MS Office applications including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Keys to Success
Understanding of the mortgage industry
Ability to work with and manipulate large data sets
Data engineering and data management skills
Systems integration and change management experience
Enterprise level experience with business analysis and requirements gathering
