The Server Assistant is responsible primarily for assisting the Food Server in serving the guest. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position with continual customer contact.

Hypsi, the signature restaurant at the new Hotel Daphne, located in the heart of Houston Heights is preparing to open its doors, and we're building a passionate, hospitality-driven team to bring it to life.
Italian-inspired with a Houston spirit, Hypsi will launch with dinner service and expand into breakfast and lunch soon after. The menu will spotlight a robust pasta program and elegant yet approachable entrées. A signature roaming mozzarella cart will serve hand-pulled cheeses with curated add-ons like pickled vegetables, aged vinegars, and cold-pressed olive oil.
Key Responsibilities:
Quickly clean dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset tables with spotless service ware.
Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.
Greet guests in a pleasant and courteous manner, serve beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary.
Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
Based upon fluctuating demands of the operation and to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to perform a multitude of different functions not specifically related to this position. Position Summary

Ensure compliance with all Loss Prevention policies and procedures to maintain store inventory accuracy and a safe and secure workplace.
Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
Responsible for opening and closing the store at times without additional leadership presence. Responsibilities include but not limited to cash handling procedure, deposits, Customer escalation, opening/closing procedures, providing task direction to all departments, maintain brand/merchandising standards across entire store, drive Customer experience and Associate/Customer safety.
