Job Description
Addiction Recovery Medical Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nurse Assistant or Medical Office Assistant to join our team of medical service providers devoted to treating Substance Use Disorder. As a CNA, you will work under the supervision of our Chief Medical Officer to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care and support as they embark on their journey to sobriety. Responsibilities
Assist the nursing staff with caring for patients during their detoxification process
Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
Document patient progress and report any significant changes to the medical team
Assist with the intake process, including obtaining medical histories and assisting with diagnostic testing
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements
Current certification as a Nurse Assistant or MOA in the state of North Carolina
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of medical terminology and basic pharmacology
Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Completes appropriate documentation of services in the electronic record within documentation requirements and timelines.
Work with clinical staff to ensure appropriate documentation of Medicaid clients.
Administer and dispense medication and prepare and monitor medication dosages, ensuring that each client receives the proper dosage in a timely manner.
Support the halfway house residents and staff in ensuring that the medication and proper documentation of medications is thorough, complete, and timely. This may include completion of Prior Authorizations, Patient Assistance Program applications, Physician Orders, and other documentation as required.
