Minimum Qualifications: Licensed Journeyman Electrician with at least 4 years of experience (6+ preferred). Supervisar y reparar equipos y componentes eléctricos Brindar apoyo en tareas generales de mantenimiento Deberes y Responsabilidades Esenciales Instalar, mantener y reparar sistemas de control eléctrico, cableado, baja/alta tensión e iluminación Realizar mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo, así como inspecciones de sistemas eléctricos y/o equipos de producción Solucionar problemas eléctricos utilizando los dispositivos de prueba adecuados Leer e interpretar diagramas técnicos, planos y esquemas Responder con prontitud a llamadas de emergencia por radio; trabajar eficientemente para reparar maquinaria con un tiempo de inactividad mínimo Comprender los sistemas básicos de climatización (HVAC), refrigerante (Freón) y dióxido de carbono (CO2), así como el funcionamiento de diversos equipos de prueba Completar con precisión las órdenes de trabajo para documentar los materiales utilizados y el tiempo dedicado a los proyectos de mantenimiento Asistir a otros miembros del personal de mantenimiento o producción cuando se solicite y/o el tiempo lo permita Colaborar con el control de inventario, según sea necesario Operar de forma segura minicargadoras, montacargas, manipuladores telescópicos y plataformas elevadoras de tijera, si es necesario Trabajar de forma segura siguiendo todas las políticas, prácticas, procedimientos e iniciativas de mejora de seguridad de la empresa Cumplir con el Código Eléctrico Nacional (NEC), las normas estatales y locales de construcción; cumplir con todos los requisitos reglamentarios de seguridad alimentaria Pueden surgir situaciones que requieran que los empleados asuman, temporal o permanentemente, la responsabilidad de tareas no especificadas en esta descripción del puesto. Calificaciones Título universitario en electricidad o finalización de un programa de aprendizaje de electricista Se prefiere experiencia como electricista o técnico; experiencia en manufactura es un plus Conocimientos avanzados de códigos y sistemas eléctricos, cableado de control, sistemas de seguridad, planos y mantenimiento y reparaciones Se valora la experiencia con Studio 5000, SCADA o programación de PLC Se prefiere familiaridad con sistemas HVAC, generadores y variadores de frecuencia (VFD) Capacidad para resolver problemas de forma independiente, utilizar recursos y ejecutar tareas Dominio de herramientas como multímetros y megóhmetros Conocimiento de la importancia de las normas de seguridad alimentaria durante el mantenimiento de equipos Se prefiere experiencia con minicargadoras, montacargas, manipuladores telescópicos y plataformas elevadoras de tijera; superar las certificaciones internas al ser contratado Conocimiento de procedimientos de seguridad como entrada a espacios confinados, apertura de líneas, protección contra caídas, bloqueo y etiquetado, y trabajos en caliente Comunicación efectiva con supervisores y compañeros de trabajo, y seguimiento de instrucciones escritas y/o verbales Lectura y comprensión precisas de letreros, etiquetas, advertencias, instrucciones, manuales de operación, manuales de servicio y esquemas de cableado relacionados con el mantenimiento y/o la operación de instrumentos, equipos y/o el uso de productos químicos Dominio de habilidades matemáticas básicas, medición y lectura de tendencias de datos; registro de información preciso y legible Disponibilidad para trabajar horas extras según sea necesario durante la semana o los fines de semana Capacidad para trabajar en una planta de procesamiento de cerdos Debe ser mayor de 18 años por motivos de seguro Requisitos Físicos Empujar y/o jalar objetos pesados de forma constante Agacharse y/o arrodillarse o gatear de forma constante Subir escaleras y/o escaleras de mano de hasta 3 metros de altura o ser elevado en plataformas elevadoras de tijera de hasta 12 metros de altura de forma constante Levantar ocasionalmente hasta 23 kg del suelo a la altura de la cintura; rara vez levantar hasta 34 kg Permanecer de pie hasta el 100% de la jornada laboral Capacidad para distinguir colores (ej.: códigos de color de cables) Tolerancia a condiciones ambientales variables: calor, frío y/o condiciones húmedas y resbaladizas
