Warehouse Associate - DaysThe team member in this position checks trucks in and out using WMS and is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the trailer loading/unloading to include the pallet handling process. The team member will operate a forklift or work with the LGV (Laser Guided Vehicle) and handling system. This includes checking outbound trailers prior to loading, monitoring all LGV activity in the warehouse, following SOPs to maintain inventory accuracy, prepping loads for cross country shipments and customer requirements, while maintaining a clean, and safe work environment. Job Summary: The Receiving Specialist is vital to the control and management of Middleby owned purchased goods, parts, components, and materials. The Receiving Specialist performs all tasks involved in the shipping/receiving area for the company. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Utilize Tracelink serial tracking system for all required products and assist in troubleshooting Receive and process inbound shipments from vendors and /or returned orders. Accurately check, receive and store incoming products as needed. Determine appropriate cold ship packaging by destination. Overtime may be required as the needs of the business dictate.
