This role acts as a liaison between freight forwarders, brokers, internal distribution teams, and customers to ensure compliant, cost-effective, and timely transportation of goods. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and expedite domestic and international shipments to meet customer service expectations
Act as liaison between freight forwarders, freight brokers, steamship lines, and customers
Prepare, obtain, and submit all required shipment documentation in compliance with DOT, IATA, IMDG, and CFR 49 regulations

Ensure the efficient and timely flow of materials between multiple manufacturing facilities

Responsible for accurate picking, packing and shipping of customer orders. Collaborates and communicates with various stakeholders to ensure customer expectations are being met. Perform inventory control measures, through cycle counts, and quality control procedures to ensure inventory systems are updated in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Support shipping and receiving operations by managing product deliveries, inventory, and order fulfillment
Ensure accurate packing, quality control, and compliance with company policies in a fast-paced environment
Stock and organize inventory by conducting cycle counts
Ensure quality control by removing damaged or expired products and resolving inventory discrepancies
Pull products for customer orders and package according to customer specifications
Provide instructions to drivers or approved visitors enter the facility
Confirm accuracy of shipments by verifying releases from customers or sales team
Complete required paperwork for shipping and receiving operations
Verify all goods against invoices or other documents
Know proper shipping procedures as far as weight and height regulations to ensure safe transport
Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, & LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required
2-4 years shipping and receiving experience required
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Ability to follow Work Process and Procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
SAP/Visual ERP working knowledge, preferred
Attention to detail
Provide quality customer service
Ability to exert up to 80 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Load and unload outside vendor shipments
Prepare all proper documentation using internal computer lot control system
Prepare final customer shipments including weighing, quantity verification, banding and loading on to common carrier trucks
Maintain good housekeeping with dock, storage areas and equipment use
Perform maintenance checklist on fork lift daily
Requirements:
