    The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving growth and managing business in the South Central region (Texas & Oklahoma) across all channels: semi-industry, regional retailers, distributors, bakery chains, foodservice, and artisans. This role focuses on achieving and exceeding sales revenue, profitability, and other objectives aligned with Puratos' 2026 Vivid Vision and 2030 long-range plan. Key activities include strategic planning, market competitiveness, pricing, and resource management in line with Puratos' channel strategies. Primary Responsibilities Customer & Distributor Relationship Management * Manage and grow existing customer base * Develop and maintain distributor relationships; actively prospect to expand customer base * Promote Puratos' Strategic & International Innovations through presentations and training for distributor sales teams; collaborate via ride-alongs to drive execution * Build long-term partnerships internally and externally; coordinate with technical and marketing teams for demonstrations and joint initiatives * Conduct annual account mapping and create new account plans to achieve breakthrough growth (direct, via distributors, and webshop) * Develop and execute yearly account plans by region/distributor using all available resources and tools * Apply Puratos channel strategies (Industry, Retail, Bakery Chain, Foodservice, Artisan) to grow sales * Utilize Distributor Innovation Centers for customer ideation sessions, capability presentations, and training to support growth Business Management, Pricing & Profitability * Monitor and report customer KPIs (sales, service level, quality, profitability, budgets); address deviations and implement corrective actions. * Maintain CRM daily: update project status, record risks/losses, log customer visits, and track support needs * Ensure forecast accuracy (65%+ target) in IBP system; regularly validate forecasts with customers * Collaborate with Pricing Controllers to manage customer-specific pricing for major opportunities, ensuring margin and volume growth Customer Intelligence * Build and maintain accurate customer profiles in CRM and account databases, including terms and conditions * Represent the voice of the customer on business development teams to guide product innovation and sales support * Participate in sales and technical meetings to share best practices and improve performance * Use Puratos' Taste Tomorrow platform to engage customers in ideation sessions and category growth * Travel up to 50% (customer visits and HQ meetings/trainings in Pennsauken, NJ) Requirements: * Bachelor's degree preferred * 5-10 years of related sales experience, ideally in food or CPG industry * Proven success in commercial roles, preferably in B2B environments * Ability to quickly learn technical product knowledge * Strong business acumen with focus on results, margin management, and analytics * Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; able to build relationships easily. * Self-motivated, assertive, and entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable with prospecting * Skilled in sales and negotiation * Strong project and time management capabilities * Collaborative team player * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, SAP, IBP, and CRM systems Looking for a Career for Good?
