My coworkers, at least at the location I worked, were gossipy and unsupportive of one another at times. Kind of reminded me of high school mean girls. Many times I saw very inappropriate conversations and interactions with the patients. Many methods that were taught to me in training, that I was told were very important to be done right in the clinic, were not followed often times. It was very confusing for me. However, my boss, the nurse that ran the center, was phenomenal- very professional, empathetic, fair, and very attentive to the patients- and to her employees- quick on her feet in an emergency. The patients and her employees all loved her when I worked there. I actually loved working there most days. But, with that being said, in my opinion, the company could work on more clear, less confusing training, and checking out their clinics more often, unannounced, to see how things are truly being done.
You can work as hard as you want there and pick up overtime. You also get a lot of support from the company to advance your career, go back to school, and they pay for it.
