PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Associate, in this Corporate Finance and Global Treasury analytical role, will support the Senior Associate and Director of Treasury Centers. The position would be a member of the CFGT team that has been established over the past few years to handle the entire Fresenius Medical Care (FME) Treasury function. This position will join CFGT in building out our new global team and will be a member of Treasury Centers team within this group.
The Treasury Centers team is the direct contact with our business segments and works to ensure the companies Treasury needs are met. The Associate can expect to work closely with all local legal entities globally. This role will have no direct reports but will be expected to have a substantial role in the Joint Venture loan program, and the companies bank and corporate guaranty program, which currently covers 1,700+ guarantees. Tasks will primarily be in the areas of inter-company financing, investment management, guarantee management, equipment leasing, FX exposure, compliance with company policies and procedures, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), and other regulatory requirements. The principal activity is providing analytical and operational support to the Senior Associate and Director of Treasury Centers while managing assigned responsibilities of the Treasury Centers team within the global landscape of CFGT. Below is a list of the principal duties and responsibilities, however additional responsibilities may also need to be taken within CFGT.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the creation and implementation of new strategies to improve operational efficiency and expand access to leasing capital
Collaborate across Care Enablement and Care Development to further operational objectives
Prepare performance reporting for the Captive Investment portfolios.
Seeking out avenues where CFGT can provide value to the organization
Lead the equipment leasing program competitive bid process, including analysis, and recommendation of lease bids, documentation review and streamlining of lease processing activities.
Performs NPV, IRR and analytical reviews of leases to confirm acceptable pricing, lease structure, accuracy and lease accounting compliance; confirms appropriate management approval and execution of lease transactions; submit Guarantor quarterly financial reporting packages for lease program compliance.
Efficiently manage all company bank and corporate guarantees applications, amendments, and cancellations using the Komgo platform and work with the field to maintain accuracy. This includes bank group consolidation, pricing negotiations, and portfolio cleanup.
Understand the FX exposure of FME by collaborating with the business units to understand the drivers to FX cash flows. Collaborate with the CFGT Capital Markets team to improve FX exposure management and reduce the risk associated with that FX exposure to the company P&L.
Play a key role in the management of the Joint Venture loan program and other inter-company financing activities. This includes working with the division to assess loan requests, reviewing financial models, executing loan documentation, and ensuring borrower compliance.
Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Assist with various projects as assigned by a direct supervisor, and other duties as assigned

+ Adheres to FMCNA algorithm and medical record policies.
+ Reports on nutrition QAI results and participates in the interdisciplinary QAI program.
+ Collaborates and coordinates with team members in provision of Pre-ESRD education as appropriate.
+ When appropriate, works with Case Manager to coordinate plan of care for patient education and identifies candidates to refer to physician for nutritional supplements, as per disease management agreements.
+ Reviews nutrition related lab results:
- Counsels patient and/or caregiver and formulates appropriate action.
- Recommends treatment changes to the interdisciplinary team as appropriate.
- Communicates with physician and/or facility staff regarding lab results as appropriate.
- Communicates lab results and recommended treatment changes to providers of patient care in nursing facilities (i.e. hospitals, short term and long term care facilities).
+ Participates in pertinent staff meetings (i.e. general staff, quality improvement), Care plan meetings, and others as applicable.
+ Consults with FMS Corporate Dietitian regarding nutrition concerns as needed.
+ Maintains and improves knowledge and skills for a competent and innovative practice.
+ Maintains dietetic registration and continuing education hours as specified by American Dietetic Association and state licensure regulations where applicable.
+ Collaborates with interdisciplinary team, ensuring that all work areas are safe and clean.
+ Other nutrition management duties as assigned.

Day to day work includes desk and personal computer work and interaction with patients, facility staff and physicians. The position requires travel between assigned facilities and various locations within the community. Travel to regional, Business Unit and Corporate meetings may be required.
The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials.
**EDUCATION:**
+ Registered Dietitian as per Commission on Dietetic Registration.
+ Board Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition encouraged.
+ Current state licensure if applicable.
**EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:**
+ Minimum of 1 year professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
+ Previous renal experience preferred.
+ Demonstrated leadership competencies and skills for the position, including ability to teach, strong organizational skills, excellent communication, customer service, relationship development, results orientation, team building and decision making.
+ Able to perform responsibilities with minimum supervision.
+ Basic computer skills required.
