Job Description As Director of Marketing Analytics, you will lead the data-driven marketing function, focusing on strategy, measurement, and optimization to accelerate business growth in a dynamic SaaS environment. This pivotal role involves steering the marketing analytics roadmap, managing a specialized analytics team, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate insights into tangible organizational impact. Please note: This is a hybrid role that will be based in San Mateo, CA and requires an in-office presence three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday). Key Responsibilities * Develop and execute the marketing analytics strategy and long-term roadmap aligned with SaaS business objectives. * Build and lead a high-performing team of marketing analysts and data scientists focused on extracting actionable insights from complex datasets. * Drive the measurement, reporting, and optimization of multi-channel campaigns (digital, organic, paid, ABM), including forecasting, attribution, and ROI analysis. * Partner with product, sales, and engineering teams to unify customer, product, and market data for enhanced growth opportunities. * Develop new methodologies for mining and leveraging data (including AI, ML, and predictive analytics) to improve marketing investment and performance. * Oversee dashboard creation, KPI benchmarking, and performance analysis to support exec-level insights and decision-making. * Design and implement processes for data governance, security, and compliance across the SaaS platform. * Present strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership and influence company-wide marketing priorities. * Foster a culture of analytics adoption and continual technical skill development in SQL, Python, R, and MarTech platforms. Qualifications * 12-15 years experience in marketing analytics roles, with 5+ years in a SaaS B2B environment * Mastery of data analytics, digital marketing KPIs, performance tracking, and statistical modeling (market mix, attribution, regression). * Proven leadership in managing analytics teams and collaborating across functions (sales, product, engineering). * Advanced expertise in SQL, Python, R, and modern MarTech/BI platforms. Strong communicator able to influence C-suite and cross-functional teams. * Experience implementing AI/ML in marketing analytics is a plus. * Strategic thinker, hands-on executor, and proactive innovator with a growth mindset. Additional Information Please note: This is a hybrid role that will be based in San Mateo, CA and requires an in-office presence three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday). This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a target bonus. Compensation Package $220,000-$288,750 USD Base Salary Freshworks offers multiple options for dental, medical, vision, disability and life insurances.
