What You Will Do As a Shipping and Receiving operator you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, order picking, stretch-wrapping pallets, packing, palletizing, and shipping and receiving. How You Will Make an Impact Responsible for control of inbound and outbound materials/ingredients/products Enters information and resolves discrepancies in computerized Warehouse Management system relating to raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished goods. Notifies Maintenance when problems arise, or other work needs to be done on forklifts, docks, doors, or other areas of the plant. Transports, stages, and rotates product in coolers/freezers. Maintains warehouse storage facility. Stores items in correct locations and keeps area free of debris. Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and HACCP food safety plan guidelines. Communicate with operators from other shifts regarding daily shipping/receiving tasks. Assures food safety standards with regards to GMPs and HACCP plan are being followed by self and fellow employees.
