VICE PRESIDENT OF LOGISTICS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
The Vice President of Logistics and Customer Service is responsible for the development and execution of the overall logistics strategy inclusive of warehousing, transportation and fleet operations, as well as leading the Customer Service team in delivering exceptional customer service. Team leadership and development, infrastructure planning, and architecting effective supply chain business systems will all be essential areas of expertise. Short term focus will be leading the team and our suppliers in delivering world class and cost-effective service and driving collaboration across various business functions. As a critical business executive at a high growth CPG industry pioneer, this role will also ensure focus on building scalable and innovative solutions, managing external risk and driving transformational changes to enable growth while protecting profitability. This is an in-office position based in our Bethlehem, PA office, with periodic self-directed travel.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Exemplify the Freshpet safety culture by leading through example
Lead organizational design and development, recruiting & training for the Logistics and Customer Service Teams
Mentor and coach team members in the accomplishment of their goals, responsibilities, and career development

What You Will Do
As a Shipping and Receiving operator you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, order picking, stretch-wrapping pallets, packing, palletizing, and shipping and receiving.

Responsible for control of inbound and outbound materials/ingredients/products
Enters information and resolves discrepancies in computerized Warehouse Management system relating to raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished goods.
Notifies Maintenance when problems arise, or other work needs to be done on forklifts, docks, doors, or other areas of the plant.
Transports, stages, and rotates product in coolers/freezers.
Maintains warehouse storage facility. Stores items in correct locations and keeps area free of debris.
Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and HACCP food safety plan guidelines.
Communicate with operators from other shifts regarding daily shipping/receiving tasks.
Assures food safety standards with regards to GMPs and HACCP plan are being followed by self and fellow employees.
Maintains a professional, courteous manner with all visitors, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
Follows established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook.

What You Will Do:

- Act as the go-to expert for D365 Advanced Warehousing, resolving system issues and optimizing processes.

- Work with end-users and warehouse teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance system usability.
- Stay current on Microsoft's D365 roadmap, evaluating and implementing new features.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assign daily jobs and work orders, detailing any requirements for the day and delegating/participating to successfully accomplish the daily tasks
· Ensure maintenance staff has a good understanding of work practices and procedures; train and develop maintenance staff
· Assist the supervisor to ensure that all work orders are completed in a timely manner, while maintaining high quality standards

What You Will Do
