Role Overview
Frida is looking for a Director of Quality Assurance to join our Operations team and take the lead in ensuring that Frida's current and new products meet and exceed quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of quality standards, such as ISO 13485 and FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 820). The Manager of Quality Assurance will focus on establishing quality standards and metrics in support of the new product development pipeline, as well as legacy products.
Core Responsibilities
QMS: Develop, Implement and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 13485, FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 820), and other applicable standards and regulations. Ensures process improvement activities remain in compliance.
QC plans: Assist in developing sustainable quality control plans with detailed testing standards that can be implemented across all new product development projects, on ongoing productions and enforced by suppliers. Incorporate quality plans + inputs into design stage gates and facilitate understanding of testing and quality variables among designers, engineers, 3rd party inspectors, and suppliers.
QC Checklists: Create, implement, and continuously improve quality control checklists tailored to specific products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborates with warehouse, including 3PLs, to establish quality procedures for incoming inspection, nonconforming material, preservation of product, material and storage handling, and production/process controls.
CS: Interface with Customer Service to rectify quality complaints & facilitate CAPA processes. Communicate quality issues, progress on CAPA actions, and quality improvements to all relevant stakeholders within the company.
User needs: Work closely with the cross-functional teams to understand user needs rooted in consumer insights and internal design standards so they are reflected in quality control standards.
Testing: Coordinate testing with suppliers and 3rd party labs to ensure product performance meets consumer expectations and internal quality standards.
Equipment: Maintain in-house calibration log up to date with equipment used for in-house design verification activities.
Revising specs: Devise and review specifications for new and legacy products as they relate to quality testing standards, integrate with compliance to ensure testing is performed.
Audits: Prepare for and manage external audits and inspections from regulatory bodies and customers. Responsible for the internal quality audits program. Address findings and implement corrective actions.
CAPA Management: Oversee the Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) process to identify root causes of non-conformances and ensure timely and effective resolution.
Process: Drive quality improvement processes to identify and address high return rates on products and/or underperformance (for example, low star ratings)
Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor suppliers to ensure they meet the company's quality standards. This includes conducting supplier audits and managing supplier non-conformances.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team to ensure alignment with company goals, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving within the team.
Provides subject matter expertise in quality engineering such as: risk management and risk assessments, design verification, equipment qualification, process validation, design transfer, configuration management, and change control.
Training: Develop and implement training programs and ensure employees are kept up to date with current standard operating procedures (SOPs), regulatory requirements, and company policies

What You Will Need
8-10+ years' experience in consumer products (preferred), Quality, Compliance, or related fields.
Has hands‑on experience developing, implementing and upgrading a quality management system tailored to the company's business model Must have a full understanding of the relevant regulations and requirements and how best to infuse the company culture of the criticality of implementing policies competently and consistently
Understanding of testing methods and some regulatory compliance (UL/ETL , FDA, ROHS, Prop65, etc.)
Experience crafting quality plans that Include: DFMEA's, Control Plans, Testing procedures, and AQL's
A keen eye for detail and a results‑driven approach
Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
Experience working directly with material and component vendors/suppliers and commodities (PCBAs, metals, plastics, cables) is preferred.
Can navigate fluidly from strategic to tactical work, has highly developed multi‑tasking and prioritization skills, is results‑oriented with a strong self‑motivation to move quickly to address opportunities thoroughly, while meeting tight deadlines
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Visio, and documentation control software (preferably Aras PLM), material management software, and statistical application software

The Senior Event Consultant (SEC) manages and grows an assigned book of business, focusing on client retention, proactive communication, and revenue growth. Working closely with Market Managers, the SEC develops account strategies, nurtures long-term relationships, and provides on-site support for key events. When not in the field, the SEC supports clients and internal teams with ongoing service needs.
Time Allocation (Approximate):
One-third Account Management: Retention, relationship building, and revenue growth within assigned accounts.
One-third Field Time: Client visits, site meetings, and on-site event support.
One-third Customer Service: Handling calls, quotes, and customer requests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Interaction & Sales
Field incoming phone calls, texts, web requests, and emails.
Make outbound calls to update client contact information and maintain regular communication with assigned accounts.
Consult with clients to understand event needs and provide tailored rental recommendations while identifying upsell opportunities.
Consistently follow up on quotes and leads to meet department goals.
Schedule and conduct design center appointments within assigned accounts.
Create event layouts and showcase products through mood boards and other visual tools.
Greet clients in the design center and ensure a professional, positive experience.
Account Management & Growth
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
Conduct quarterly and semi-annual visits with assigned accounts based on activity level and growth potential.
Identify and nurture emerging accounts with growth potential.
Strengthen relationships to drive retention and repeat business.
Proactively address and resolve client concerns to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Field & Event Responsibilities
Assist Market Managers with large event management, logistics, and load-ins as needed.
Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
Provide on-site event support as necessary to ensure smooth execution.
Share insight on market trends, client needs, and competitive activity.
Collaboration & Communication
Partner with Market Managers to execute account strategies and event plans.
Provide creative solutions for client or market challenges.
Generate at least five qualified leads per month for Market Managers.
Demonstrate the companys Core Values of Consistency, Adaptability, Reliability, and Teamwork (CART) in all interactions.
Maintain professionalism and clear communication across departments.
Administrative & Performance Responsibilities
Accurately maintain client data, event details, and sales information in company systems.
Ensure quotes, orders, and documentation are complete and accurate.
Track and meet performance metrics for sales, growth, and service.
Remain available to support customer service tasks when not in the field.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work Conditions:
Primarily office-based with some warehouse exposure; certain areas may not be heated or air-conditioned.

Schedule & Pay:
Full-time position, MondayFriday, 8:30am5:00pm.
Occasional evenings and weekends as required.
$23-$27 per hour, plus commission.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Three to five years of related customer service or account management experience, preferably in the event or catering industry.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High level of professionalism, interpersonal skills, and customer focus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software.
Ability to create mood boards and event diagrams using PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and recordkeeping accuracy.
Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
Creative aptitude for event design, product pairing, and visual presentation.
Confident in upselling and closing sales.
Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficient in basic math, including fractions, percentages, and ratios.

How You Will Make an Impact
We are looking for a Contract Social Content Creator that can bridge the space between brief and production, flawlessly concepting, scripting and storyboarding organic social video and static content. We need someone who lives and breathes social and content trends, knows how to keep viewers hooked, and has the ability to quickly craft content in our tone of voice with minimal revisions. This role sits between strategy, copy and creative thinking. You will not be designing or editing assets. You will be directing what gets made and how it looks and sounds.
Responsibilities to include:
Take a product brief and turn it into multiple social-first executions with clear direction to hand off to creators and makers both internal and external.
Write creative scripts for Reels and Shorts in the brand voice that exploit best practices and connect with our audience that a creator can take and immediately execute.
Ideate, storyboard and copywrite carousels and static image posts in formats ready to hand off to designers.
Write hooks,captions and on-screen copy optimized for scroll behavior and in the brand voice.
Succinctly communicate creative direction, and feedback when needed, to executional teams, agencies and creators or influencers.
What You Will Need
Proven experience concepting, writing and guiding content for social platforms.
Strong understanding of what content performs across formats.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with sharp, human copy that builds our brand voice.
