Mark Behl has a diverse background that includes extensive operations management experience across private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. He is a proven, results-oriented health care executive with extensive turnaround, start-up, acquisition, and operational experience for complex organizations.Mr. Behl currently serves as SVP Physician Enterprise - West Division for CommonSpirit Health where he is responsible for leading the strategy and operations for CommonSpirit Health’s ambulatory models in California including aligned medical groups, clinically integrated networks, and independent provider associations. In this role he partners with physician and clinic teams as well as Dignity Health hospital colleagues to develop strategies that prioritize the delivery of high-quality, patient-centric care. In addition, he is Chief Executive Officer for Dignity Health Medical Foundation (DHMF), a not-for-profit organization providing award-winning, patient-centric ambulatory services in a variety of areas including primary and specialty care, diagnostic imaging, vision, occupational health, urgent care, and behavioral health. DHMF operates more than 120 clinic locations across the state of California and supports physician medical groups and Independent Physician Associations (IPAs) representing more than 3,500 physicians and APPs.Mr. Behl earned a Master of Healthcare Administration Degree from Seton Hall University and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Nevada, Reno.
