John Balzer joined Froedtert Hospital before it opened its doors in September 1980 and has developed a hobby of collecting and maintaining construction and building photos and maps throughout Froedtert's history.
As of the November 1, 2011, effective date of the Wisconsin Concealed Carry Law, properly licensed individuals may keep a registered weapon in their locked, personal motor vehicle.
In October 2017, an existing affiliation with the former United Hospital System was expanded to include its Kenosha Medical Center, St Catherine’s Medical Center and related clinics in the network.
In March 2021, the health network expanded again and now includes Holy Family Memorial, Manitowoc County's largest health care provider.
