Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; Master's degree preferred. * 12+ years of experience in civil engineering. * Professional Engineering license is required. * Deep knowledge of core civil engineering fundamentals such as stormwater management, low impact development solutions, utility design, grading and earthwork, roadway geometry, pavement design, and accessibility standards. * Experience winning and delivering successful projects for local clients in the Los Angeles market. Knowledge of permitting processes for City of Los Angeles (LADBS, LABOE, and the various clearance divisions) and other Southern California cities is desired. * Experience managing project delivery and interfacing with project owners, contractors, and outside consultants while maintaining commitment to sustainable design practices. * Track-record of building and managing successful relationships with client organizations. * Demonstrable commercial acumen, business savvy, and leadership qualities. * Experience delivering projects within operational campuses such as Healthcare (including permitting through HCAI) is preferred. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary.
