Schedule This year-round position offers an average of 1520 hours per week with a flexible schedule, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. While scheduling needs may vary, open availability is preferred to support coverage during all hours of operation. Key Responsibilities * Serve as the first point of contact for Recreation Center visitors. * Provide information about memberships, programs, and facility amenities. * Process memberships and program registrations using registration software. * Enforce Recreation Center policies and procedures. * Assist with special projects, including marketing materials, facility notices, and outbound calls. * Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area. * Assist customers in person and over the phone with registration and inquiries. * Process payments and maintain accurate financial records. * Conduct facility tours and verify member check-ins. * Ensure outstanding customer service by greeting guests with a smile and direct eye contact. * Follow cash-handling procedures and perform daily close-out processes. * Support staffing and setup for events. Minimum Qualifications: * Must be at least 16 years old. * One year of customer service experience. * Satisfactory credit history. * Must obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within six months of hire. Starting rate of pay is $15.50 per hour. Physical and Environmental Factors: The role requires the ability to stand continuously for up to four hours per shift, in addition to walking, reaching, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. (i.e. tables, chairs, gym equipment). Candidates should be comfortable with physical activity and working in conditions typical of a recreation center.
