The Title Clerk is responsible for ensuring all titles are processed and verifi ed accurately, effi ciently, and effectively by following correct policies and procedures. Creates shipping labels, packages, and seals, and sends titles to buyers daily via Federal Express. Ensures titles are delivered to the correct purchasing dealer and/or buyer. Responsible for running title reports and assisting with title inquiry emails. Files titles that are awaiting payment into a secured fi reproof title cabinet. Assists Coordinators/Leads with reporting, audits, title updates, and/or phone calls. Other projects and tasks as assigned. What You Need: Attention to detail and ability to accurately distinguish between numbers and letters and alphabetize. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must exhibit strong team player attributes with the ability to multi-task and prioritize as well as work independently. Must type 55 WPM and have strong 10-key typing skills. Two years of experience in data entry or title work is required with automotive experience preferred. General automotive knowledge is required. Operate the switchboard and disperse calls as required by your shift. Take guest messages and faxes with accuracy, always noting the date and time of message. Repeat message back to caller to assure the accuracy of the message. Use message light to tell guests that they have a message waiting. Know emergency procedures and how to respond. Never say a guest's room number out loud. Be knowledgeable of hotel promotions. Know room rate. Also know the amenities of the rooms so you can inform guests of what to expect in their rooms. Know physical makeup of building-exterior and interior. Know where the closest shopping, convenience store and gas station is.
