Pay & Schedule 💰 $20 per hour Monday-Wednesday • 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (24 hours per week) What You'll Do As the face of our hostel, you will: • Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out, reservations, and inquiries. • Provide excellent customer service and accurate local recommendations. • Handle phone calls, emails, and front desk administrative tasks. • Keep the front desk and common spaces clean, organized, and welcoming. • Work closely with housekeeping to ensure smooth operations. • Enforce hostel policies professionally and confidently when needed - don't be afraid to say “no” when required. • Lift up to 50 lbs when needed • Pitch in with other duties when the team needs you (multi-hat role). • Extra duties may be assigned by the Manager. This role is multi-faceted - you'll be serving guests and helping the hostel function smoothly behind the scenes. Who You Are We're looking for someone who: ✔ Loves hospitality and enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life. ✔ Has a positive, helpful attitude and strong communication skills. ✔ Is comfortable wearing multiple hats - handling guest service, organization, and maintaining our space. ✔ Knows how to enforce rules and standards with kindness and confidence. ✔ Has basic computer skills and can learn reservation/front desk systems. ✔ Previous hospitality or guest service experience is a plus - but not required if you're eager to learn. A high school diploma or equivalent is sufficient.
