Performs clerical, administrative and payroll functions for the DC Maintenance Department.
DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Reviews and identifies budget vs. actual variance in monthly budgets and capital projects.
Assists in the development of distribution center expense and capital budgets.
Prepares distribution invoices.
Maintains preventive maintenance schedules for distribution center equipment.
Maintains the parts inventory (i.e., parts used, parts ordering).
Maintains first aid inventory for distribution center.
Serves as a liaison between Maintenance Department and all outside vendors.
Serves as a liaison between Administrative Assistant and maintenance employees.
Maintains records of the status of maintenance employees.
Prepares all correspondence for Maintenance Manager.
Meets and maintains safety, quality and productivity standards.
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
Good reading, accounting and math skills.
Intermediate organizational and communication skills.
Intermediate level computer skills; ability to use: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, payroll/personnel systems such as KRONOS and Lawson systems, and Datastream software.
WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:
Two years experience as an Administrative Assistant preferred and experience in automated retail distribution enter preferred.
Familiarity with distribution systems.
WORKING CONDITIONS and PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Exposure to changing climatic conditions and extreme heat and cold.
Sitting for long periods of time.
Bending, stooping, squatting, or kneeling on a repetitious basis; walking long distances.

Essential Job Functions
Welcome, assist and interact with members using the fitness center
Scan in members to the Fitness Center and verify membership
Demonstrate the proper technique on how to use the cardiovascular and strength training equipment
Test all cardiovascular and strength training equipment daily
Perform daily, weekly, and quarterly cleaning of member desk, cardiovascular, and strength training equipment
Take prospective members on facility tours and assist in the sale of memberships
Schedule member orientations and program design appointments for new members
Know and enforce all Fitness Center policies, procedures and rules in a consistent, fair and firm manner
Answer calls and emails directed to the Fitness Center
Maintain proper level of clean and folded towels, and other supplies such as water for fitness center members
All other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
PA Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance: Must be dated within the past 5 years and specifically for employment (not volunteer).
NOTE: If you do not have already these clearances, you will be provided with instructions when an offer of employment is made. Results can take up to 4-6 weeks. Both clearances must be presented before employment can begin.
Must be 18 years of age or older
Minimum 6 months of experience in a customer service role
Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications
Dependable transportation to and from work
Language skills: Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communication

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
-Ability to handle money quickly and accurately

-Comply with cash control procedures and admission procedures as set forth by Park and management staff.
-Maintaining a good, working relationship with the public regarding: complaints, suggestions, policy and discipline.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Assistant Front Desk Manager reports directly to the Pool Manager.. Additional supervision is provided by the Front Desk Supervisor, Assistant Pool Manager and the Program Manager. The Assistant Front Desk Manager supervises all Front Desk employees of the Lancaster County Swimming Pool in the absence of the Front Desk Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
-Supervision of all Front Desk employees in the absence of the Front Desk Supervisor
-Ability to handle money quickly and accurately
-Ability to organize and maintain control under fast paced conditions
-Comply with cash control procedures and admission procedures as set forth by Park and management staff.
-Maintaining a good, working relationship with the public regarding: complaints, suggestions, policy and discipline.
-Ability to train front desk/admissions staff on cash register operations and all components of admissions office.
