Transportation Office Assistant
SCOPE:
The Transportation Office Assistant (TOA) schedules and arranges freight for the transportation of Sofidel's outbound products and materials for domestic locations. This role supports the Supply Chain team to determine the appropriate transportation methods for delivery of products to our customers. As a TOA this role works closely with other departments to coordinator and monitor the timeliness and accuracy of shipments. 1. Supports Sofidel America's Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to promote a safe, sanitary and hygienically sound workplace.
2. Create shipping documents in SAP.
3. Coordinate with other departments within the company to monitor the timeliness and accuracy of shipments and prepare reports related to the location and timing of shipments.
4. Work with orders to determine the transportation methods for the delivery of our products to our customers.
5. Create shipping and receiving appointments and schedule in Transporeon TMS System.
6. Collaborate with customer service department to determine priority of sales order and to maintain tracking of shipments and accurate record keeping.
7. Research alternative carriers when necessary to make recommendation regarding carriers that may have advantageous pricing and delivery schedules.
8. Perform monthly, weekly or daily reports as directed by the Planning and Transportation team members and Leads.
9. Follow all regulations and legal documentation norms pertaining to warehousing, transportation, and logistics.
10. Scan and file appropriate paperwork.
11. Daily work with Microsoft Word and Excel.

The FrontDesk/Tenant Assistant Coordinator is responsible for carrying out the mission of CCHC by hiring and training FrontDesk/Tenant Assistants who work at the supportive housing programs. This position provides services as a member of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The frontdesk provides 24-hour staff coverage. The FrontDesk/Tenant Assistant will be the first person with whom tenants, guests, suppliers and others have contact with when coming into the building. FrontDesk duties include: granting admittance into the building, directing those who enter to correct areas of the building. Answering the building's telephone system and directing calls; monitoring the video surveillance system and logging tenant interactions as needed. Staff are scheduled 8-hour shifts. Available shifts include day, evening and overnight.
The FrontDesk Coordinator will recruit frontdesk staff and track and coordinate training requirements and opportunities. This position is responsible to schedule and actively train, coach, and mentoring desk staff to ensure desk coverage and staff competency. Must be able to work a flexible schedule and manage unexpected call-ins.
