How you will make an impact:

ABOUT US: The Schaumburg Park District is an award-winning public agency that provides its 80,000 residents with a wide variety of recreational facilities, programs, events, parks and open spaces. Schaumburg Tennis Plus (STP) is home to a fitness center, fitness studio, an indoor pool, eight indoor tennis courts, six racquetball courts, and a wide variety of programs and special events.
JOB SUMMARY: The front desk staff is responsible for desk operations, greeting our guests, answering phone calls, welcoming members, processing admission fees, making reservations, program registration, cleaning the fitness center and other light cleaning, troubleshooting issues that may arise when no manager is on duty, and in general, providing outstanding customer service to all patrons of the center.
QUALIFICATIONS: The best applicants will have a friendly, outgoing personality, reliable and prior office/customer service experience is a plus. Must be able to use a computer to navigate various website applications as well as the ability to stand and bend during scheduled shift. The ability to complete our CPR/AED certification within 30 days also required.
SCHEDULING & PAY: Schedule will vary but you can expect to work at least 2-4 shifts per week (about 10-22 hours per week). Shifts vary from mid-day (10:00 am - 4:00 pm), closing weekdays (4:00 pm - 9:00 pm) and weekends (12:00 pm - 5:00 pm) as well as holiday(s) depending on facility needs. Applicants must be able to work weekends and/or sub when needed. These are year-round part-time positions starting immediately. Hiring rate is $12.00 per hour.
