Build and maintain modular APIs used by: Admin (Blazor) Crew and Fan mobile apps (MAUI) Timing systems Ticketing, Merch, Finance, Security, and Logistics portals Implement business logic for racing workflows: Events, entries, race classes, schedules, results Driver/team data Track configuration and timing integration Build CQRS-based handlers using MediatR. Database & Data Layer Design and manage SQL Server schemas and EF Core models. Create migrations, seeds, and maintain data integrity. Build high-performance queries and stored procedures when needed. Work with relational models across multiple bounded contexts. Cloud & Infrastructure Deploy and maintain API services in Azure using: Azure App Service Azure SQL Azure Storage (Blobs/Tables/Queues) Azure Functions (where appropriate) Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions Monitor and tune API performance, scaling, and reliability. Integration & Middleware Build integrations with hardware and timing protocols. Implement SignalR hubs for real-time updates. Develop secure authentication/authorization layers: Azure AD / Identity JWT / Role-based access (Admin, Crew, Fan) Integrate with third-party services (payments, email, SMS, analytics). Quality & Process Write clean, maintainable, testable code. Participate in architectural planning, code reviews, and sprint cycles. Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems. Document API endpoints and workflows clearly. Requirements: Technical Skills 3-7+ years of backend development experience with C#/.NET. Deep experience with: .NET 6/7/8 C#, LINQ, async/await Web APIs (minimal APIs or Controllers) Entity Framework Core SQL Server Dependency injection & middleware pipelines RESTful API design Azure experience (at least 2-3 of the following): App Service Azure SQL Azure Functions Storage Accounts Managed Identity Key Vault API Management Understanding of Clean Architecture and modular domain design. Bonus Skills MediatR (CQRS pattern) Domain-driven design (DDD) SignalR Experience integrating with hardware or real-time systems Experience with microservices or modular monolith patterns Experience working with Blazor/MAUI teams Soft Skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
