The Senior Buyer, Purchasing position will have a focus on technical purchasing, vendor management, and team guidance throughout the company to evaluate requirements of goods and services, work with Strategic sourcing RFPs, assist in the negotiation of spare parts purchasing contracts with suppliers/vendors, track supplier/vendor performance and focus on clearing discrepant invoices to ensure timely payment processing within negotiated payment terms. The role will also identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity, efficiency and accuracy of the purchasing and procurement processes. Mentor and train junior members of the purchasing team. Essential Functions Purchasing Oversight (50%) * Work with key stakeholders throughout the company and oversee the efficient purchasing of technical spares, manage implementation of new suppliers and vendors. * Analyze the market, screen potential suppliers and vendors, be involved early during requests for proposals (RFP) and present recommendations for final vendor selection to ensure appropriate and cost-effective partnerships are established. * Assist to maintain purchasing platforms Aeroxchange, ILS, etc. * Continuous communication with other Supply Chain Departments and Business Partners regarding part reliability, availability. * Excellent proficiency in technical manuals including but not limited to IPC, AMM, CMM, wiring diagrams, etc. * Detailed working knowledge of the roles of AOG, Repairs, and Material Ops departments processes and assist as needed. Vendor management (30%) * Ensure that discrepant invoices are cleared in a timely manner, working closely with the Finance and Accounts Payable departments to ensure payments are timely and communicated with each vendor. * Maintain Sarbanes Oxley compliant procurement practices and polies * Identify and track vendor performance metrics and conduct review meetings with vendors/suppliers and organizational leaders to review performance results and operational/contracting issues to ensure vendor partnerships are maximized and contract terms are enforced. * Partner with Purchasing Manager to develop KPI's for strategic /critical suppliers and vendors for performance improvement, cost savings and enforcement of contractual provisions to ensure effective partnerships are maintained. Process Improvements (10%) * Identify process inefficiencies and cost-reduction initiatives and lead the design and implementation of process enhancements to improve operation and financial performance of vendor/supplier partnerships. * Other duties such as researching, evaluating, and developing new strategies and processes involved in the OEM projects. Team management and development (10%) * Assist in future team member identification. * Train, develop and motivate a team to ensure performance and organizational objectives are met or exceeded. Other Functions * Ensure adequate Sarbanes Oxley ("SOX") compliance. * Participate and contribute to budget process. * Attend industry related conferences. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Finance, Supply Chain Management or other related field or relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree as deemed appropriate by the Sr Manager of Materials. * Minimum four years of experience in sourcing/procurement, supply chain, strategic sourcing, financial analysis, or related function preferred. * Experience with sourcing/procurement of airline goods and services preferred. * Leadership or project management experience in sourcing/procurement, supply chain, strategic sourcing, financial analysis, or related function preferred * Experience in negotiating high-value and long-term contracts preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Proficient in research and analysis, commodity expertise, forecasting, negotiation, contract management, and leading projects * Competent in financial analysis and assessment, logistics, strategic sourcing, TCO/design-to-cost, e-commerce/information technology * Strong presentation, communication skills and project management skills. * Experience in value-based decision analysis, process design and improvement and consensus building strongly preferred * Experience in change management, performance management, team building and resource planning and management * Demonstrates organizational values of integrity, respect for people, diversity, appreciation, innovation, adherence to ethical standards, challenging the status quo, excellence in performance, commitment to shareholder value, teamwork, and continuous improvement Equipment Operated Standard office equipment, including PC, copier, fax machine, printer Work Environment Typical office environment, adequately heated and cooled Physical Effort Generally, not required. The Manager of HRIS & People Support oversees the management of the HRIS, Onboarding and People Support functions. As the Manager, HRIS Administration, you and your team will be responsible for system administration of the company's HRIS system (UKG Pro), including all security and workflow administration, while maintaining the employees' electronic employment records in our HRIS system, generating HRIS reports, maintaining SOX compliance and implementing necessary system upgrades to our HRIS system. These teams are the main point of contact for employment-related inquiries from new hires and current employees. In the Onboarding and People Support capacity, you and your team are responsible for entering new employees' info into our company's HRIS, helping employees transition from one position or project to another, maintaining data integrity and gathering feedback from employees about their experience to identify areas for improvement in our company's onboarding process. Your teams will also welcome new hires and provide them with all the necessary information, documents, and other employment-related materials, including all badging related activities, to set them up for success as new employees. Essential Functions * Subject matter expert and responsible for all system administration of UltiPro HRIS including, all security and workflow administration. Responsible for upgrades, enhancements and lifecycle support. Partner closely with Benefits, Payroll and Recruiting teams for all HRIS related projects and improvements. Administer and maintain Manager and Employee self-services and processes. * Optimize functionality within applications while developing procedures and routines to validate data stored in various HR databases. Assist in developing procedures to verify correctness of data input into various HR databases. Main contact for all SOX and audit related projects and compliance. Maintain documented procedures. * Manage the onboarding process of new employees, ensuring that they have a positive onboarding experience, reviewing and inputting accurately while maintaining correct documentation and accurate electronic employee records. * Develop a team focused on providing exceptional customer service to employees, contractors and new hires in areas related to their employment experience. * Work with the Learning & Development team to ensure that new hires are scheduled for new hire orientation facilitated by a member of the Learning & Development team. Identify and implement appropriate technology solutions focused on employee self-service, * Ensure data accuracy of employment records, including auditing data as necessary; ensure processes and policies align with data accuracy needs. Facilitate the transfer of employees from one position/work location to another from a systems standpoint. * Work closely with the Payroll and Benefits teams to ensure that they have the necessary employee data to provide timely and accurate payroll and benefits. * Support a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to develop and implement new and more efficient ways of doing business. * Identify, create and disseminate regular and ad-hoc reporting on employee data for members of leadership develop and engage a team of HRIS professionals Other Functions * Manage special projects and committees as needed. * Serve as an internal consultant for company. What Will You Be Doing? The Coordinator, Inflight Training Administration is responsible for the scheduling and recordkeeping of FAA regulated Flight Attendant training and evaluation. What Will You Be Doing? An experienced accountant performing assigned month-end accounting functions at an advanced level, quarterly-reviews, year-end audit requests, and special projects, including hedging. The Senior Accountant, Fuel will work heavily with all departments on expense activities throughout the company. Essential Functions * Prepare journal entries for month-end closing. * Prepare and analyze monthly general ledger account reconciliations. * Complete monthly and quarterly balance sheet and income statement analytics. * Document accounting processes in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. Other Functions * Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit requests. * Special projects/continual process improvement particularly around automation * Completion of technical accounting memos for routine or non-routine transactions as needed, including hedging Qualifications * 3-4 years of applicable previous accounting experience * BS in Accounting * MS in Accounting or MBA preferred * Certified Public Accountant, preferred * Month-end close experience * "Big 4" experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills * Ability to work well with other team members and other departments * Strong organizational skills * Excellent attention to detail * Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines * Ability to work with strict confidentiality Equipment Operated General office equipment, computer, copier, calculator, printer, phone, etc. Work Environment Normal office environment Physical Effort Generally, not required.
