In 1973, Peggy and Ed Shreve launched an engineering company called Frontier Engineering, Inc.
Recognizing the potential for business growth, the company owners began full-time operations in the fall of 1981.
From the original four employees, Frontier experienced rapid growth to over 500 employees in 13 locations by 1990.
In 1990, the company purchased their current facility in Stillwater, Oklahoma, which serves as our Corporate Headquarters.
A graduate of the 8(a) program in 1993, FES is a Woman Owned, Native American Owned small business with a tremendous success story.
In 1997, Frontier Engineering, Inc. restructured its organization to intensify market focus and maximize core business strengths.
Doctor Brenda Rolls, the Shreve’s daughter, took the helm as President and CEO in January of 2008.
