The floor employees are amazing highly skilled people.
Management and engineering are completely inept in all aspects of their professions. Employees receive zero support and all blame for problems that originate from the front office. Pay is laughable and benefits aren’t much better. Paid time off is plentiful but used for everything from federal holidays and sick time to disaster related closures with penalizing policy’s should you not have PTO for one of these events that could potentially lead to your termination should management choose.
Unlimited overtime because it’s the only time you’re paid fairly for your work.
Absolutely nothing. These people don’t care about the employees and display a disdain for anyone beneath them. This goes from floor leads all the way to upper management.
Terminate the management and engineering teams and replace all of them.
There was no need to prepare.
All skilled labor positions are below the national average.
I feel as though if we hired qualified people as opposed to relying on diversity and inclusion we would have more employees who could read a tape measure.
