Frontline Education CEO and leadership

Mark Gruzin is the Chief Executive Officer for Frontline Education. He is responsible for Frontline’s core strategy and vision, leading the organization in our service of the K-12 education community. Mark also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Frontline Education.

Mark comes to Frontline Education from Blackboard, an educational technology company, where he served as president of global markets. Prior to his work with Blackboard, Gruzin held multiple executive roles in IBM’s software group.

Mark’s core competencies include organizational leadership and execution, business strategy and innovation, operational readiness and driving business performance. He brings all of these areas of expertise and more to Frontline Education including his passion, both personally and professionally, to align with mission-oriented organizations.

Mark attended the University of Maryland, Smith School of Business. As an active member of the community, He also served on the Board of Director’s for the National Fragile X Foundation and is a Special Olympics Coach.

Sri has more than 25 years of experience in software development, SaaS Infrastructure, information security and data analytics. Prior to joining Frontline, Sri held senior leadership positions at ESG Global, Cvent and several other successful technology companies. Sri has also been a founding team member of hardware and software companies in the areas of education, energy, security, consumer applications and hospitality and currently serves on the advisory board of several Boston-area startups.

Colin Gallagher is a Chief Security Intern at Frontline Education and Technolgy Leadership Program - Informaton Security at Vanguard and is based in Malvern, Arkansas. He has worked as IT Intern at Frontline Education. Colin attended Immaculata University between 2014 and 2018 and UA Universitat d Alacant Universidad de Alicante between 2017 and 2017.

Erika Carrero is a CFO, Perennial EdTech at Frontline Education and is based in San Francisco Bay Area. She has worked as Vice President, Finance at Perennial EdTech; Controller at Medallia; and Finance Manager at Varian Medical Systems Inc.. Erika studied at Stanford Graduate School of Business between 2017 and 2017, Santa Clara University between 1999 and 2001, and Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú between 1992 and 1997.

Greg Doran is a CFO at Frontline Education and is based in Greater Philadelphia Area. He has experience at State Farm Life Insurance Co and has worked as Manager, Operational Planning at Cigna; CFO at MaaS360 by Fiberlink, an IBM company; and Director of Finance at MaaS360 by Fiberlink, an IBM company. Greg attended Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.

Jimmy has extensive experience as a technology consultant and product owner, leading cross-functional teams to design and implement end to end technology solutions for large organizations. Successful implementations result from a foundation in agile development practices, a commitment to customer feedback, and the ability to drive work among diverse sets of stakeholders. Jimmy has experience in the healthcare and aviation industries. With a pre-med undergraduate background, he is particularly passionate about business transformation opportunities in the healthcare industry that aim to advance patient experience, reduce costs, and improve quality of life for healthcare professionals.Prior to joining Google, Jimmy spent time with GE Aviation as a Product Manager and Deloitte as a Technology Consultant. In all of his roles, Jimmy enjoys interacting with customers and using the vast amount of data available to make data-driven decisions that improve business processes. He loves learning new technologies and is currently most interested in the opportunities that the Cloud offers to large organizations.
