FBT Gibbons is seeking an experienced Commercial Title and Escrow Professional to join its Multi-State Title Agency team and support complex commercial real estate transactions across multiple jurisdictions. This role works closely with Multi-State Title Agency attorneys, board members and firm attorneys, and serves as the title and escrow officer responsible for administering commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale, financing, leasehold interests, and issuance of title insurance to the respective parties.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach, and is comfortable managing multiple transactions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze commercial title exams covering title history typically ranging from 60 to over 100 years.
Review surveys and communicate with clients and surveyors to obtain necessary revisions or clarifications required to insure title.
Identify, analyze and work to resolve title issues resulting from the review of title exams and/or surveys.
Prepare policies and commitments for title insurance pursuant to various underwriter and state requirements.
Coordinate with lenders, sellers, buyers and their counsel to prepare, review and finalize necessary closing documents, including deeds, mortgages, releases, affidavits, easements and leases.
Monitor and maintain current knowledge of underwriting procedures and policies for multiple underwriters across jurisdictions, actively track changes to ALTA forms, and implement industry-standard updates to maintain compliance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate, complete, and organized transaction files in accordance with Multi-State Title Agency policies and underwriting and regulatory requirements.
Manage escrow funds for assigned files including documenting receipts and disbursements.
Job Requirements:
Associate's degree (A.A.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of one year of prior relevant experience in the real estate, finance, or title insurance industry as an attorney, paralegal, escrow officer, accounting professional or other comparable position is preferred.
Licensed Title Agent in Ohio or ability to obtain an Ohio Title Agent license.
Experience using SoftPro Select or other title closing software program is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail to identify, evaluate, and resolve complex title and escrow issues.
Ability to read and comprehend purchase and sale contracts, easements, declarations, mortgages, notes, amendments, affidavits, agreements and other standard documents routinely used in commercial real estate transactions.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as real estate tax prorations, county and state conveyance fees, recording fees, discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram from and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Responsibilities
Aviation Rescue Swimmers are tasked with entering treacherous conditions to assist with rescue missions, humanitarian assistance, and operational support. One day you may be evacuating families on the other side of the globe amidst a catastrophic storm, and the next day rescuing the crew of a ship off the Pacific coast or saving a mountain climber hanging from an inaccessible cliff.

Training & Advancement
Aviation Rescue Swimmers must be prepared to operate in any challenging environment. It's why two years of training in advanced swimming and lifesaving techniques, helicopter mission equipment and helicopter weapons systems are required before you report to your first squadron. Throughout training, candidates are continually tested mentally and physically as they advance to more rigorous and challenging scenarios.
Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes (known as Boot Camp), those pursuing an Aircrewman role undergo the following training pipeline:
Aviation Rescue Swimmer School Prep Course (2 weeks) in Pensacola, FL.
Aircrew Candidate School (4 weeks) in Pensacola, FL, to learn Naval Aviation fundamentals, intermediate water survival, aviation physiology and advanced water survival.
Rescue Swimmer School (6 weeks) in Pensacola, FL, to learn search and rescue techniques.
Class A Technical School (8-14 weeks) in Pensacola, FL, learning one of the Aircrew Ratings (AWF, AWO, AWS, AWR, AWV).
SERE School (2 weeks) in North Island, CA, or Portsmouth, NH, to train in Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) techniques.
Fleet Replacement Squadrons (28-52 weeks) location dependent on aircrew rating in one of five locations (Jacksonville, FL, Norfolk, VA, San Diego, CA, Oklahoma City, OK, Ft Worth, TX) for basic flight and aircraft weapons systems training.

Meet specific eyesight requirements: uncorrected vision no worse than 20/100; correctable to 20/20 in both eyes with normal depth and color perception

Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes (known as Boot Camp), those pursuing an Aircrewman role undergo the following training pipeline:
Aviation Rescue Swimmer School Prep Course (2 weeks) in Pensacola, FL.
Aircrew Candidate School (4 weeks) in Pensacola, FL, to learn Naval Aviation fundamentals, intermediate water survival, aviation physiology and advanced water survival.
Rescue Swimmer School (6 weeks) in Pensacola, FL, to learn search and rescue techniques.
Class A Technical School (8-14 weeks) in Pensacola, FL, learning one of the Aircrew Ratings (AWF, AWO, AWS, AWR, AWV).
SERE School (2 weeks) in North Island, CA, or Portsmouth, NH, to train in Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) techniques.

The annual base salary for this position is $165,000 to $195,000. Depending on billable hours, total compensation can range up to $207,000 for those at the lower end of the salary range, or up to $245,000 at the higher end.
*Job Duties and Responsibilities:*
Manage and litigate complex trust, estate, and conservatorship disputes, including but not limited to:
* Will and trust contests (e.g., undue influence, lack of capacity, fraud)
* Breach of fiduciary duty claims against trustees, executors, and conservators

*Qualifications:*
* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
* Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
* 5+ years of demonstrable experience specializing in California Trust & Estates Litigation.
* Strong understanding of the California Probate Code, related statutes, and case law.
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to draft persuasive legal documents and advocate effectively in court.

Responsibilities
Aviation Rescue Swimmers are tasked with entering treacherous conditions to assist with rescue missions, humanitarian assistance, and operational support. Training & Advancement
Aviation Rescue Swimmers must be prepared to operate in any challenging environment. It's why two years of training in advanced swimming and lifesaving techniques, helicopter mission equipment and helicopter weapons systems are required before you report to your first squadron. Throughout training, candidates are continually tested mentally and physically as they advance to more rigorous and challenging scenarios.
Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes (known as Boot Camp), those pursuing an Aircrewman role undergo the following training pipeline:
Aviation Rescue Swimmer School Prep Course (2 weeks) in Pensacola, FL.
Aircrew Candidate School (4 weeks) in Pensacola, FL, to learn Naval Aviation fundamentals, intermediate water survival, aviation physiology and advanced water survival.
Rescue Swimmer School (6 weeks) in Pensacola, FL, to learn search and rescue techniques.
Class A Technical School (8-14 weeks) in Pensacola, FL, learning one of the Aircrew Ratings (AWF, AWO, AWS, AWR, AWV).
SERE School (2 weeks) in North Island, CA, or Portsmouth, NH, to train in Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) techniques.
Fleet Replacement Squadrons (28-52 weeks) location dependent on aircrew rating in one of five locations (Jacksonville, FL, Norfolk, VA, San Diego, CA, Oklahoma City, OK, Ft Worth, TX) for basic flight and aircraft weapons systems training.
After graduation, an AIRR may be assigned to a helicopter command at sea or on shore duty in various locations throughout the world, Japan, Guam, Spain, or the continental US including San Diego, CA, Norfolk, VA, Jacksonville, FL, Fallon, NV, Whidbey Island, WA, Key West, FL and many others.

Beyond offering access to professional credentials and certifications, Navy training in this field can translate to credit hours toward a bachelor's or associate degree through the American Council on Education.
You may also continue your education through undergraduate degree opportunities like the Navy College Program and Tuition Assistance and the Post-9/11 GI Bill.
Qualifications & Requirements
No college degree is required to become an AIRR, but a high degree of difficulty comes standard with nearly everything you'll do. Training is tough and ongoing. You should be in excellent physical condition and a strong swimmer.
To qualify for Rescue Swimmer Training, both men and women must:
Meet specific eyesight requirements: uncorrected vision no worse than 20/100; correctable to 20/20 in both eyes with normal depth and color perception
Meet the minimum Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) score: VE+AR+MK+MC=210 or VE+AR+MK+AS=210
Pass a PST in DEP/Boot Camp
Pass Class 1 Flight Physical
Be 30 years of age or younger
Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for security clearance
