Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Remove product from stacking machines at the end of the printing press or finishing machine.
* Work with loose and/or completed product by stacking onto pallets, transferring to tables and placing into a collator hopper or into mail bags.
* Move product/skids with a hand jack, motorized Raymond (Big Joe) lift or Forklift (training provided).
* Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
* Effectively communicate with team members.
* Assist other crew members with various duties including webbing up of the press and/or special handwork in order to meet customer requests.
* Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures
Qualifications:
* Must be at least 18-years of age or older
* Printing, factory, or other mechanical work experience a plus
* Strong mechanical aptitude.
* Ability to write and read measurements.

Job Summary
Performs machine repairs and manufactures required machine parts.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Performs preventative maintenance; makes repairs to all manufacturing equipment on a scheduled or emergency basis.
* Calculates machine dimensions and tolerances using mechanical knowledge.
* Monitors the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
* Sets up, adjusts, and operates machine tools.
* Uses maintenance shop tools and methods including drilling, shaping, cutting, welding, brazing, grinding and sawing to complete work assignments.
* Designs and fabricates machine parts using the milling machine and lathe.
* Measures, examines, and tests completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.
* Determines control settings to regulate machining, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
* Maintains industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, machining procedures.
Other (Non-Essential) Functions
Includes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title. However, these functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a "Reasonable Accommodation" under the ADA.
* Complies with safety rules and regulations (wear proper safety attire; steel toed shoes or coverings, hearing protection, safety glasses, shields and gloves as needed), is not involved in horseplay, is cautious when near equipment and machines, always make sure safety guards and contactors are in place and operational. Maintains housekeeping in work area (sweeps, removes waste, etc).
* Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
* Reqularly required to stand, walk and sit.
* Regularly required to reach, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend and stoop.
* Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
* Exposure to high production/output machinery and equipment, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc -- all materials an employee may come in contact with are detailed with readily available MSDS sheets), and constant noise.
* Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.

Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes. We are hiring immediately Machine Packers for our manufacturing plant in Williamsburg, PA. Machine Packer Pay/Schedule: * $17.40/hr + shift premium $0.35/hr. * 12 hour shifts - 2 days and 2 nights required : Day shift 7am -- 7pm / Night shift 7pm -- 7am
* Mandatory Overtime is required for 1-2 days during this busy season
* Opportunity to be promoted to a Machine Adjuster position if adequate mechanical skills are demonstrated after 90 days with the possibility to earn up to $22.81/hr if successful progress is being made based on the requirements for the position.
Machine Packer Responsibilities & Daily Duties:
* Loads paper on to automatic hand-fed orweb envelope folding machines; pack finished product.
* Inspects quality of envelopes, labels cartons, reports variances to key personnel.
* Checks current production orders/schedules to determine daily production requirements.
* May be required to do rework on finished product; Cleans up work area during/end of shift.
* Other duties as assigned/required.
Machine Packer Physical Requirements & Work Environment:-
* Ability to keep up with a high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
* Mental alertness; Ability to step up/reach overhead/manually feed paper into machine.
* Ability to lift up to 55 pounds; Manual dexterity required to grasp objects.
* Exposure to arm/wrist fatigue; Exposure to noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.).
* Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
