You learn a lot quickly since you are thrown to the wolves right out of the gate.
Management is pitiful. Prior management was great but upper management didn’t like them so they make life hell for them, till they leave. No training whatsoever. More tasks constantly being added to your plate without the help, support or pay. Benefits are being cut, 1% pay raise is a joke, understaffed and management allowed to do as they please with no consequences. No standard of care….I just don’t understand how this place is still open.
Patients and some providers who actually care.
He talks a good game but nothing he ever says comes to fruition.
Fire upper management, take notes from nonprofit hospitals and learn to spend money to make money. Staff offices with trained employees and give providers enough staff where they all can do their jobs without resentment, extreme stress and prioritize employees so they can deliver exceptional care.
When first hired the pay was pathetic. Within a couple of months pay was increased because one provider advocated for us, stating we work our selves to death for pennies. Still, the pay doesn’t match up with other organizations or the job expectations. We’re expected to do the job of 2 or more employees without overtime or any incentive.
