Prevents problems/solves problems in the moment; identifies solutions, makes recommendations to proactively safeguard people, property, assets and the Company. * Manages the physical security of the loading dock, receiving area and storerooms. Confirms and logs inbound/outbound deliveries and shipments. * Observe and report to the police any criminal activity in the absence of, or while awaiting police response. * Escorts and/or transports select Calamos employees and executives for personal protection purposes as needed. * Works as required/when necessary including on varying shifts, days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed to fulfill the responsibilities outlined above. * Performs related duties as assigned. The Security Officer 2 is responsible for the general safety and security of the CME facility, staff, members, and visitors. This role involves enforcing access control policies, patrolling the facility, and staffing the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) as needed to maintain a secure environment.
