SUMMARY
Responsible for the overall coordination of all mailings/documentation to be presented to the postal clerk for that given day. Utilize mail carrier systems to weigh packages, print labels, prepare invoices, etc., Track shipments for customers. Work closely with shipping companies to resolve issues as needed.
Place stock on shelves and consolidate as needed; operate forklift and pallet jacks. Shrink wrap and/or palletize as necessary.
Receive and check incoming shipments from vendors. Inspect packages for shipping damages. Approve and sign receipt slips.
Process and restock returns from customers, including exhibit material in coordination with supervisor.
Prepare exhibit material for shipping. Pull materials needed such as bookstands, order forms, display boards, tablecloths from shelves and pack.
Assist in cycle counts and periodic physical inventory.
Able to lift boxes and packages up to 40 lbs regularly.
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Check, monitor and maintain quality control documents
Troubleshoot and investigate quality issues
Make regular rounds checking the quality of active jobs and reporting any issues
Completes all required paperwork using USPS using Window books
Training new employees to the proper procedures
Working directly with the Postal Clerks
Operates the mail piece count scale in accordance with operating instructions, records piece counts by individual bags/trays and calculates total piece counts for customer individual mailings
Working directly with the Quality Control for training process for backup coverage
Communicate with Accounting and Client Services on special job completion and, volume counts as requested
Be able to work a flexible schedule which may mean extended hours as the work load demands
Pull/Upload Mail tracing files
Closeout mailings and ensure accurate accounting/balancing
Process Rejects/Returns timely
Provides administrative support on various reports
Postage Recoup at the end of each month
Stamp reconcile at the end of each month
Drop Shipment setup on jobs that require drop shipments
Additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with different software programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Window books.
Previous experience working with USPS requirements desired.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED required. Previous experience working with USPS desired. Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions, work effectively under pressure.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Has the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Has the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
