We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Sales Manager of Geotechnical Services to drive growth across energy, infrastructure, and transportation sectors by cultivating high-impact relationships with the greater California/West Coast Region. This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships and signed contracts. You will be instrumental in shaping Fugro's market positioning and expanding our footprint across key client organizations and industry networks.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $190,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

* Represent Fugro at industry events and forums to enhance visibility and influence.

* Partner with technical, legal, finance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless client delivery and contract execution.
* Monitor and report key metrics including lead conversion rates, pipeline health, and revenue growth.

Job Requirements:
* Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions
* A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer, Earth Sciences or related degree field is preferred.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in geotechnical site investigation or closely related field is preferred.
* Possess a deep understanding of the geotechnical services and site investigations
* Strong network of contacts in key markets (infrastructure, energy, and transportation) within the greater California/West Coast region.
* Ability to use financial statements as a management tool to drive business decisions and strategies
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite, PowerPoint, and CRM Software.
* Must possess a valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
* Must hold a valid passport for international travel.
* This role will require up to 40% travel.

Successful candidates will receive diversified training through on-the-job assignments using the technical skills acquired in college. Assigned projects will develop the interns both technically and professionally. Each intern will be assigned a technical mentor and supervisor to ensure a productive and engaging assignment.
Interns are typically matched to one of the service lines based on discipline. Within that service line, the intern will be responsible for completing one or more projects during the internship. The intern will work within established engineering and/or operations teams.
The preferred internship duration is 12 to 13 weeks with a 10-week minimum requirement. Assignments will typically be at one of our sites located in California, Virginia, Louisiana, or Texas. Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of urban forest management plans for municipal and other clients that deliver an implementable program towards a sustainable urban forest.
Write chapters of urban forest management plans including urban forest best management practices, municipal budget and work performance, tree inventory sustainability assessments, application of canopy cover studies, community engagement, and ordinances and policies.
Work with planning departments of various cities in the County of Los Angeles by reviewing tree permits, assessing tree health and risk, and providing written reports.
Preparing arborist reports and other technical reports related to tree and urban forest management, including collecting field data, evaluating project information and site plans, and other project-related technical reports.
Coordinate project team members by assigning tasks and monitoring workloads to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
Prepare and present proposals, scopes, budgets, and bids for new projects.

We're looking for a Construction Administration / Controls team member who will be located in our West Geography office locations. The role will form an integral part of our regional construction administration team and will help to deliver some of the most significant projects in the area. This role will be a hybrid role where it will support both our construction administration and our controls team. There is an overlap between Building Construction and Controls and this will give the successful candidate exposure to cutting edge systems within some of the most exciting projects within our region.
The Opportunity
* Support our Construction Administration and Controls teams through project work - including new / existing construction and pre-design support. Sustainable Design Analyst Intern (Available June 2026)

The Opportunity
* Support building performance analysis by developing lifecycle cost calculations, water balance calculations, building energy/performance optimization studies, renewable and distributed energy feasibility studies, operational and embodied carbon calculations, or resilience assessments, under guidance from more senior members of the team
* Participate in design, analysis and strategy development of decarbonized energy systems including building-level MEP systems, building energy efficiency and electrification strategies, on-site renewable energy and storage strategies and net-zero grid interactive projects.
* Work towards proficiency in thermal simulations and analysis for a variety of project design goals and outcomes (energy, carbon, comfort, etc.)
* Support senior staff in the delivery of sustainable design and analysis work
* Prepare written reports, visuals, graphics, and other project deliverables for both technical and non-technical audiences
* Participate in early design charrettes and workshops to enhance sustainability, holistic design approaches, and design coordination
* Contribute to projects at various stages of ideation or implementation at various scales of intervention, from single measures to fit-outs, to master-planning, and infrastructure developments
* Conduct research into a variety of sustainability, decarbonization, resilience, and equity topics (e.g., sustainability and/or resilience policy, health of communities, and social equity)
* Conduct site visits for field data collection and actively participate in internal or external client meetings along with more senior members of the team
* Contribute to project deliverables including presentations and reports, managing sub-tasks to assist the team in tracking project deliverables and schedules
Is this role right for you?
* Pursuing a Master's degree related to sustainability in the built environment or building science, with a bachelor's degree in Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, or Public Health Engineering, or similar program preferred.
* Knowledge base of building systems and building design, including building fabric, lighting control strategies, mechanical HVAC, renewable energy generation systems, external solar shading devices, daylighting strategies, and sizing mechanical plant and equipment
* Knowledge of building energy simulation, whole-life carbon software such as, EnergyPlus, IES VE, Rhino + Grasshopper, SketchUp, OpenStudio, Tally, Athena Impact Estimator, One Click LCA
* Knowledge of sustainability frameworks such as LEED, WELL, Fitwel, Living Building Challenge, Envision, etc.
* Successful completion of coursework in sustainability, energy, operational/embodied carbon, climate change, resilience, lifecycle costs, distributed energy resources.
* Professional accreditation under a sustainability rating framework such as LEED or WELL accredited professional preferred
* Excellent time management skills, with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional research, writing, communication, and presentation skills to communicate work in a clear, concise, and logical format
* Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
* Proficient in use of software like MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, interactive Adobe PDFs
* Candidate must be eligible to work in the US without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future to be considered for this role
