The company also provides international navigation services, which include Global Starfix DGPS services with dual delivery; Starfix.Plus to counteract solar interference; Starfix.HP for ultra high precision applications; Skyfix XP (decimeter); geodetic and calibration services; multi-reference QC software; relative positioning and source/streamers; DP station keeping; Starfix reference sites; and customer support services. In addition, it offers international marine services comprising near-shore geophysics and hydrographic surveys, ROV and construction survey support, survey support of cable operations, multibeam bathymetry, pipeline inspection surveys, port and harbor surveys, and GPS and land surveying services. The company was formerly known as John E. Chance & Associates, Inc. and changed its name to Fugro Chance Inc. in 2002. Fugro Chance Inc. was founded in 1957 and is based in Lafayette, Louisiana. The company has an additional office in Houston, Texas; and regional offices in Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Curacao, and Trinidad. Fugro Chance Inc. is a subsidiary of Fugro NV.
