Fill and package drums and totes. Sample and test production material. Charging and monitoring process tanks. Obtain forklift certification and perform material handling operations as assigned. Correctly document containers processed as required by standard operating procedure, including manual and electronic logs, forms, and labels. Operate manual and automated equipment in support of job functions. Must be capable of making necessary mechanical connections for tank systems. Communicate equipment status and outages to the lead and other supervision, as needed for correct, safe operation. Assist maintenance to troubleshoot and operate equipment for repair activities. Maintain job associated certifications and tasks above the basic level. Maintain EHS and other facility training current. Assist with operational, quality, and safety reviews, as assigned. REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED Strong Communication skills Demonstrated abilities to work independently and as a team 0-2 years manufacturing experience in related industry Strong troubleshooting skills Strong mechanical aptitude a plus Good computer skills a plus Ability to lift at 60 lbs. Uses Mettler-Toledo IND780 terminal system in conjunction with the SAP ERP system to ensure correct raw materials assigned in the batch record are weighed at the specified quantity. Suggest changes in departmental procedures and processes (SOPs) as needed. Performs and documents line clearance at the start of each formulation event. Maintains all required logs and associated documentation. Assures that all chemicals are stored and labeled properly. Performs process scale checks on all required equipment including scales and balances. Keeps work area, utensils, tanks, mills, and equipment clean and organized.
