Job Description
Salary range for position: $160,000 - $180,000, commensurate with experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitates the realization of the tier one goals of quality (yield), cost reduction and delivery/capacity improvement. Participates in the goals deployment process, in the development of detailed plans, measurement of progress and quarterly executive reviews.
Collaborates with Engineering, Production and Equipment teams on yield improvement activities. Coordinates the efforts of these teams to develop, drive, manage and report on yield improvement experiments.
Drives business processes to support tier 1 goal achievement including business information systems to make data and reporting more accessible.
Works with Manufacturing Engineering in the modeling and measurement of current capacity and improvement activities to increase available production capacity.
Works with Engineering, QA and design teams to define quality plans for the products. Drives the documentation of critical product/process/tool parameters & how to monitor them for early detection of issue and insure stability of the manufacturing process.
Drives the use of effective statistical process control and continuous improvement techniques. Encourages the use of these tools to address product, process, and quality system issues.
Participates in the evaluation of engineering changes, risk assessment, and materials review board and monitors the effectiveness of the change control process.
Maintains records and reports on Key Performance Indices.
Structured Communication. Must be able to provide concise and accurate information in a well-structured manner demonstrating strong analytical and critical thinking skills consistent with data driven decision making also taking into account Risk Benefit analysis where appropriate.
Performs other activities as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Supervision of internal Quality Engineering team. Position has direct and indirect responsibility for multiple shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS:

· Quality auditing experience. Previous product quality, quality assurance, and reliability experience.
· Knowledge and experience with Capability analysis, Six Sigma methods and/or APQP.
· Experience in application of quality tools such as SPC and FMEA.
· Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Practices.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Products (Excel, Work, Project, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and Minitab.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques sampling theory and factor analysis.

As a MEMS Development Engineer Intern you will be responsible for creating device samples for evaluation, and then collecting and analyzing detailed data from materials characterization and metrology tools to develop novel processes applied to cutting-edge MEMS-based piezoelectric inkjet printheads. Summary:

Performs regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on high volume, validated processing equipment.
Reviews preventative maintenance tasks for effectiveness and frequency and recommends any continuous improvement changes or Lean practices for implementation to management.
Optimizes processing and reduces downtime by performing predictive and preventative maintenance on all equipment, machinery and facility buildings; participating in the installation of new equipment as required; maintaining electrical system, including facility lighting by installing and repairing wiring and fixtures; and performing general maintenance tasks, including landscaping, painting, and carpentry.

Pay range for this opportunity is $92,750 - $125,000. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

The Facilities Engineer IV plans facilities changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, working toward economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation and other related costs. Inspects construction and installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. Develops criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes.
Knowledge: Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Barriers to entry such technical committee review exist at this level.

Job Description
Salary range for position: $150,000 - $180,000, commensurate with experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible of documenting preventive maintenance actions and schedules for facilities systems
Establish and manage key indicators that represent the health of facilities systems.
Coordinate new construction of a building and production design
Examines and approves engineering and architectural drawings and design computations for public buildings and places of employment to ensure compliance with sound engineering practices and established standards, codes, and regulations.
Conducts preliminary surveys and prepares schematic, preliminary, and work drawings for the construction and maintenance of new or remodeled structures and facilities.
Estimates cost of projects, writes contracts and specifications for labor, materials and equipment for construction projects, and secures bids from contractors.
Conducts periodic inspections of work in progress and advises construction supervisors and contractors on interpretation of plans and specifications.
Inspects materials, workmanship, and architectural, mechanical and electrical installations for conformance to plans and specifications.
Evaluates and makes recommendations concerning changes in contract documents and ensures that authorized changes are implemented, in accordance with federal, state, and local building codes.
Reviews and approves shop drawings and cost breakdowns submitted by suppliers and contractors of construction projects.
Consults with architects, engineers, owners, and contractors regarding preliminary layout, construction procedures, and code requirements that apply to building projects.
Discusses plans, specifications, and work schedules with contractors and resolves problems associated with projects.
Maintains records of progress, quantities, changes, delays, and other pertinent factors affecting construction projects.
Conducts correspondence involving technical problems concerning structural engineering standards and code requirements.
Performs design computations involving determinations of strength of various materials through use of computers.
Designs and prepares plans of construction projects through use of computer aided design system.
Inspects existing facilities to ascertain their condition and prepares reports depicting the condition, deficiencies observed, designs necessary for repairs, and estimated cost of repairs.
Conducts health and safety surveys of structures and maintains associated equipment.
Maintains records and prepares reports and correspondence related to the work.
Performs related work as assigned.

8 or more years experience in HVAC control systems.
Must have the ability to manage projects

Plumbing/electrical knowledge and basic skills
