HSE Training Development & Delivery - 25% * Design and develop, with guidance, corporate HSE training materials, job aids, and e-learning modules using adult learning principles. * Works closely with the HSE staff to set up training classes, which includes sending the meeting notice, tracking the attendees and other various tasks, as needed. Also includes the location of the training, room set up, hotel rooms for traveling attendees, restaurants (if applicable) for meals for the days of the classes and decides on menu. * Act as HSE department single point of contact for HSE owned content on STERIS University, including: * Skillsoft - responsible for ensuring content is functional and relevant, support troubleshooting for users. * Storyline - utilize software to create content * Manage requests received that are related to global HSE content * Manage new content upload process and maintain / monitor training completions, reports, and relevant content. * Maintain and align the corporate HSE new hire induction training program(s), * Deliver or assist in classroom and virtual HSE training to support Associate HSE development and compliance. * Track and periodically report training completion records in STERIS U. * Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. * Assist content creators with uploading and formatting training content into the STERIS U platform, ensuring consistency and accuracy. The Advanced Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for the design, documentation, development, and testing of software solutions for new and existing medical devices. The Advanced Embedded Software Engineer is also responsible for analyzing product/system-level requirements and translating them into software specifications as well as the development and delivery of specific software features and functionality. This position works independently and within a cross functional team with minimal supervision. What You'll do as an Advanced Software Engineer * Designs, implements, and maintains efficient, secure, reusable, and reliable software code according to corporate standards and best practices for new and sustaining engineering projects. Analyzes risk and establish risk mitigation. Conducts and participates in peer code reviews to identify issues and provide recommendations for enhancements. * Collaborates with cross functional team members for project planning, analysis and development of product requirements and to outline proposed solutions. The Experience, Abilities and Skills Needed * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering required with 8 or more years of related engineering experience. A degree in another Engineering discipline may be acceptable with proven software education and/or training and 10 or more years of demonstrated software experience. * Practical experience in embedded C and C++, object-oriented analysis and programming, and multi-threaded/multi-tasking programming is required. Understanding of development for a resource-constrained target environment with specific performance requirements is desired. (8 or more years) * Proven experience at software development analysis, task time and effort estimation and execution to plan is required. (8 or more years) * Experience performing software requirement analysis and definition. Experience working with stakeholders to refine product requirements to be realized in software is desired. (5 or more years) * Experience with one or more RTOS systems and the associated system services is required. (5 or more years) * Experience developing and maintaining device driver software on an embedded system is required. (5 or more years) Experience with serial communication (UART, USART, SPI, I2C, CAN) is required. The Electrical Engineer II will serve as an electrical test engineer within the product development team in R&D. This position is primarily responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated test systems to support new product development and production. The Electrical Engineer II ensures the reliability, accuracy, and compliance of electrical testing processes for PCB assemblies, control systems, wiring harnesses, and integrated electrical systems. This role plays a key part in maintaining high standards for electrical testing throughout the organization. What You'll Do as an Electrical Engineer * Design and implement automated test programs, fixtures, systems, and scripts for NPD and production environments. * Qualify test stations using GRR, SPC, and other statistical analysis tools to ensure accuracy and repeatability. * Define requirements and concepts for test systems, select and evaluate components, create schematics, verify designs, and maintain comprehensive tester documentation including test plans, reports, and work instructions. * Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, reports, and work instructions. * Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to diagnose test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. * Optimize test processes to reduce cycle time, minimize false failures, and lower cost per test. * Analyze test data, monitor trends, and provide actionable insights to design and quality teams for ongoing product and process improvements. * Ensure all test systems and processes comply with industry standards (IPC, UL, IEC) and meet regulatory requirements.
