About the Role
This role requires a self-motivated, detail oriented, and responsible Warehouse Associate for a fashion e-commerce site in San Bernardino, CA. The ideal candidate will have previous retail and fashion experience/interest.

This position includes order fulfillment, shipping/packing/ receiving shipments, maintaining excellent quality control and order accuracy. We thrive in a fast paced environment where there is sudden pressure and deadlines so you must be flexible, quick, a can-do attitude and be able to manage a workload with changing priorities.This position requires to stay on your feet for 10 hours a day.

The Concessions Associate is responsible for operating Modlin concessions service during events. This includes setting up and breaking down the concessions area, safely and responsibly serving food and beverage, maintaining inventory control, handling and reporting sales, and proper handling of alcoholic beverages, per the Virginia Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales and Customer Service Set up, stock, and prepare concessions area for service during performances Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as prepackaged snacks to patrons in a timely manner Ensure that service areas are clean and sanitary, and equipment is clean and well maintained Provide consistent, excellent customer service Operate point of sale system, including cash and credit card transactions Accurate and responsible handling and reporting of all sales Close and reset concessions area at the end of performances Management and Communication Ensure compliance with all Virginia Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control regulations to include distribution, service, security, inventory, and record-keeping for alcoholic beverages Complete required settlement reports Strong organization, prioritization, and efficiency skills to manage high traffic concessions Supervise the work of volunteer bar staff when necessary Provide support to front of house as needed QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working with the public in a customer service environment Ability to work and communicate effectively with people of diverse cultural backgrounds Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly Candidates must be 21 years old EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or educational equivalent One year of experience in retail sales or customer service preferred WORK HOURS: Part-time, temporary, non-exempt position Must have flexible availability to work a schedule that will include evening and weekend hours depending on performance schedule and need. Typical shift includes four hours. SALARY STRUCTURE:
Pay Grade 1 (Hourly rate starting at $15.00)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Pulling
o Apply labeling, pull orders, and replenish inventory when required. Use computer as needed to check inventory records or order history
o Manually pull material for customer orders from stock and place orders on packing carts to convey orders to packing station for distribution. Multiple carts will be loaded for packaging each day.
o Read customer order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed
o Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, item type, style, color, or product code
o Coordinate with all departments to fulfill specific and ongoing inventory and shipping needs
o Open bales, crates, and other containers to facilitate quick and easy pulling for orders to be packaged
• Packing
o Package and seal by hand a wide variety of agricultural and farm style products and materials in a warehouse environment using packaging processing equipment.
o Build boxes and load materials and products into packaging and read for shipment to customers
o Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms for processing and shipping
o Examine and inspect containers, materials, or products to ensure that product quality and packaging specifications are met
o Pull rolling shelf of ready orders to work station to package. Multiple rolling shelves will be used each day.
o Keep a clean work area by removing debris and damaged materials as needed
o Stop or rest machines when malfunction occurs, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor
o Maintain inventory of packaging materials for optimal daily work. Notify supervisor when materials need to be replenished
o May sort packages for shipment, according to destination or other classification, and place items in mailing bags or bins for delivery.
o Any and all other duties assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.
• 3-6 months of related experience a plus.
• Knowledge of farm implementation equipment, parts and supplies helpful.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to be a team player.
• Flexibility and punctuality a must
• Previous experiencing in a warehouse setting a plus but not required
• Go-getter attitude
• Ability to understand and act on both written and verbal instruction
• Bilingual a plus but not required
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction or short correspondence
• Ability to think on your feet and problem solve

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
